Getting about as predicted here 35 mi east of Pittsburgh. Currently about 7" and still snowing. I'd guess maybe 2-3 more but the system seems to be stalling and or pushing back westward a bit which could prolong the snow. Timing was pretty good for most to get home from work Friday except those south of the city where it started 3 hours earlier but all in all this is a nice normal winter event here for the weekend.

Started snowing around 8 PM last night. I just came in from plowing and snow blowing for breakfast. There is at least 14 inches so far. We had a little lull in the action for about a hour. Now its kicking back up .

Oh I forgot to add. Thanks Jim Lore. You are more correct than our Moron weathermen. I think they all have to get their ID 10 T forms signed.

My wife and I have been watching the weather news and the reporters aren't hyping it at all. We are expecting a huge wave of weather refugee's arriving here in the southwest any day now. Hopefully it isn't to late for you all to run while you can. I have room for several RVs on my place and Buick lovers have first dibs.

WHAT A STORM!!!!! Real glad we still have power around here, keeping the fingers crossed.
not sure on totals but the drifts are impressive.

To all the people plowing, you sure are earning your pay with this storm. Good luck and stay safe.

Yeah it's a good one! I think it'll beat the 'blizzard of '96'.
It's been good snow, cold and dry. Wind hasn't been as bad as forcasted either.
Tough to put a total depth on it, it varies so much. Got at least 20" here in Doylestown.
I haven't had a power outage yet, and even my Dish satellite TV signal has been good all day.

Yea I bet here in Newtown were about or over 20" also.
How about all those people stuck on the PA turnpike? National guard was even called in.

Jim, I've been on snovertime since 11:00 pm Friday, and I've been plowing up monstrous piles of white gold! I gotta admit though, this is a bit much. We got 2 feet or so and it just quit snowing around midnight. I'll be plowing until 9:00am or so. That'll be 34 hours at time and a half!! :dollar:

24" here in Bedford, PA. Spent most of the day plowing and shoveling. One of those snows where I only had so much place to push it. At least it wasn't a wet snow here.
Snow plows plowed my drive shut last night so I guess I'll be opening that back up.
Sunny today, YAY :) Supposed to get close to 40* the next couple days. Awesome!
Hope everyone that was in the path of this storm came through it okay.
