I am running Stage 2 TE heads that were built and ported by Charlie Evans and Mike Phillips. My heads are flowing 349 at .600 and 359 at .650 on the intake side. They flow 243 at .600 on the exhaust. My current camshaft is the TA-284-86F solid. With 1.65 roller rockers, it is .581/.584 lift. I am running two 800 Quick Fuel Holleys on a Weiand Cross Ram intake. Due to the longer intake runners, my torque is 636 at 3600 rpm and horsepower of 645 at 4300 rpm. My compression is around 11.8 to 1.
We had to install power valves in my carburetors and downsize the jets to make the motor drivable on the street. I gave up horsepower in order to make my GS more street friendly…. and it’s a 4-speed.
If you stay with the TA-288/92H camshaft, I think you will make around 575 hp.

That sounds like a terror on the street! I’m leaning towards keeping the cam I have and with a little weight loss, shooting for my high 10 second time slip.

Called TA today and they had a few 290-08H cams in stock, so I ordered one. Excited!
