Pittsburgh here, they’re calling for snow next week. I really love the seasons, I couldn’t live somewhere like Florida where it’s just summer all year round, although I do love Desantis! Problem is that I work outside, not ready for the snow just yet.
Then you'd love Florida. I work outside yr round and for the most part enjoy it . Its not 12 months of hot and sunshine. In the north part of the state we do have a couple of seasons.
Yeah, exactly what Steve said. We have seasons down here in South Florida. Look at the temperature first thing in the morning. Beats the heck out of the mid 80s, and we’re only getting to a high of 84 today. Well, that’s a lie because it’s already 84.6° on my electronic thermometer, but it sure beats the heck out of mid 90s!
This morning at nine it was 50 degrees. At noon it was 65 degrees. If this trend continues, by Thursday it will be 451 degrees!

The weather… those weather people on TV are the best liars in the world. Went to bed after the news last night. The weather guy said today would be beautiful and tomorrow also. I wake up this morning and the weather lady is saying it will be raining by 11 AM this morning. What the heck changed overnight. I’m guessing the front coming down from the north down shifted into second and gained some speed. As usual I was sweaty as could be doing chores. I think it was in the upper 80s but we did have a nice breeze if you happen to be on the right side of the house.
OMG, and QRST, that is way too cold John Everett! We are pretty chilly here this morning. As usual I’m sitting in my back porch with shorts and flip-flops on. I thought it was kind of humid with the paddle fans off so I turned them on. Now I’m kind of chilly. I think we got down to the upper 70s last night. A cold front is coming, so they say. This morning the lying weather lady said tomorrow we will only be in the upper 70s. I guess I’ll mow the lawn tomorrow
Drove home with my windows rolled up yesterday, first time since June. Today 77 Tomorrow 79 Thursday 70 then moving on to six months of rain

OMG, winter has arrived. Can I tell you how depressed I am, and chilly. I’m sitting in my back porch watching the news and I am wearing a T-shirt. I hate clothes! My foot gear is flip-flops as usual, but being it is so chilly I am sitting crisscross applesauce in my chair in order to keep my feet warm. Winter, I hate winter! So many bad things come with winter. As I have been reminded just a couple posts above me, penguins show up in the winter. I can’t tell you what kind of knot I have in my stomach. I need some valium, and perhaps Xanax!
Bone chilling 39 this morning. Phone started ringing at 7 AM, No doubt no heat calls. I let it go to VM. I'll answer the phone at 8:00
65 degrees here in not-so-sunny SW Florida today. I think that may well be the high temperature for today. It was 67 when I got up at 7:00 AM. The weather guy said that here in Naples it will be the coldest high temperature in 191 days. I don't expect a pity party, but it is definitely not beach weather. It's also cloudy with occasional light rain.
John, without the penquin's and the tales of your travails us Buick people would have no entertainment while our cars are put away for the winter. Common man, take one for the team.
