How come I feel as I am committing a crime??? I sit here looking at the car and I think it is a #s matching 66 Wildcat that has a list of options. The only bad points are the floor and the frame. All the parts are there and it seems to be such a crime. Help Me out with this one Brothers:shock:

    How bad is the frame?
    Does it need replacing?
How hard will it be to find a new frame from another car in good condition?
How much will that frame cost?
How many other cars will you save by parting this one out?
Got a good 4WD F250 in need of a new body?

The frame is bad! You can take out chunks by hand! The car has spent its life in ont it is done BUT it looks so Good:Do No: I think You are rite in saying it will help save a couple of cars. If all else fails I do have a 84 chev plow truck that could use a little character!!!!!:3gears:

66electrafied Just tossing in my nickel's worth

If you've got a nice reasonably crack-free steering wheel in black I'm interested.

I might consider a front bumper if it is straight, and not in an urgent need of a re-chrome. It would depend if it could be shipped at a reasonable cost though.

You're using the console/buckets for the convertible. Look at the floor of the hardtop where the shifter mechanism goes through. You will need the floor section for a pattern to cut the hole of the convertible. Also the mount brackets for the bucket seats welded to the floor will have to be cut out to use in the convertible.

Thanks for the heads up:TU: I spent the day cleaning the shop so the hard top didn't get in the shop till late . I was looking at the floor in the rag and thinking about the linkage. Had no idea that the seat brackets are welded:eek2:
