quit smoking its been 4 weeks and 1 day that i last touched a cigarette! the best part is im paying myself 5.00 dollars every other day to quit. i already have 75.00 dollars to spend on my gsx from not smoking! i think this time im gonna quit for good. it hasnt been easy but i feel better too. hope you other guys and girls are doing as well.
How's everybody doing? Have you been able to stick with it, or have you experienced a slight blip? I hope you're all on your way to kickin' the habit!
COUNT ME IN!!!! Thanks guy's!!! Been looking for a little extra help and I think I found it here. Quit 3 day's ago and was doing great until today, had a arguement with the old lady and went out and bought a packou: Smoked 3,but then I said to myself "what the hell are you thinking!!!",then I crushed the pack and tossed them in the trash with lighter. That was 12 hrs ago and I'm feeling good since then. I'm using the patch and hard candy, and the urges are getting easier each hour. Without the blowout I probably wouldn't have slipped, but 3 in 3 days is better than 30!! Let's make it stick guy's:TU: .......Alan
quit smoking six weeks tomorrow that i quit smoking! 105.00 dollars in my no smoking fund! i quit cold turkey without any gimmicks like patches. only thing is i drink a little more coffee than i used to. i really feel better too. it takes willpower but it can be done. good luck to everyone else who decided to try and quit.
Good to hear from you guys! Great work! John, that extra $105 will give you some extra money to smoke something else this summer... those tires! Good luck!
Congrats to all of you that have quit smoking:beer My father smoked for 40 years and quit 10 years ago. I have been chewing for almost 20 years and finally quit 10 days ago, I had been trying to quit for the last year and never made it more than a few days, sometimes alot less. More money for the buick:grin: This thread inspired me to give it one more try and I plan on making it this time, Thanks guys
when my mom quit (about 6 months ago) she quit coffee at the same time too...big mistake she had major headaches for about 3 days...the worst of her life she said, turns out coffee and cigarettes are vein restrictors and when she quit both at once it turned on her cardovascular system fullblast. You guys should be really proud of yourself for quitting...it will be nice to have that extra money lying around too 1 bad GS GOOD LUCK!!!
Thursday will be 4 weeks for me Tell you what - it was ALOT easier than I thought it would be....PLUS I feel my overall energy level (Metabolism) has gone up quite a bit too. Hope thats inspiration to those reading and thinking of trying - Im only 6 more Quit-Weeks away from ordering that Billet Mechanical Fuel pump from J.W. :Brow:
