Thanks Joe. So your firewall body tag has a 05B stamped into it,2nd week of May 1970? I would have thought your cowl body build date would have been maybe 05D or 05E or even later considering your car was not internally invoiced until mid June. Maybe your car was used by the plant manager for 2-3 weeks before it was let go to be internally invoiced and shipped out. Great info,thank you for looking
Rich - I went back out with my reading glasses on, and the "B" is really a "D". So that makes it the 4th week in May, like you thought. My eyes are getting as old as my cars..... Joe
I know of 1 70 GSX QQ code automatic that still resides with the Original Owner. He is a member of V8Buick but he wont even mention he has it! Come to think of it its not even listed in the GSX Registry. (with his name)
