I have a 1970, QQ, Stage 1, automatic, #'s matching, non-A/C 68,300 mile car. Not in the registry. I am the 3rd owner and the car has not been washed since 1977.

Okay, I'll take the girl even though she's probably a grandmother by now. I bought Al's car so I guess that makes me legit on this thread. It drives like a dream and looks great. Best looking muscle car of all time, the GSX, as far as I'm concerned.

I have to agree with you on this one. When I did have mine running, even the Chebby guys would comment on how smooth the ride was. I always told them, yeah, this is the Cadillac of Muscle Cars. I always knew I had something special when I found it in '74.

We have a 1970 GSX, 10/10, Stage one, auto, has A/C, #'s do match, Presently sitting in warm storage as it is -41 degrees here this AM. My son has a yellow one so will tell him to check into this thread. Bob
1970 GSX Q-Q Stage 1 4 Speed, with the original drive train.According to Wayne Roberts it is the 488th GSX produced in 1970. It is very low optioned demonstrator car ordered from Jim Cooke Buick in Louisville KY. The restoration is underway, aiming to have it finished in 2009.

1970 QQ non Stage 4-speed, Wayne Robert's info states this is number 677 of 678. I have been told this is the last QQ ever made, and the last 4 speed made. Came with drum brakes. Originally sold in Wilkinsburg, PA. I met the original owner. Anyone know the whereabouts of 678?
JoeBuick What is the build date on your cowl Firewall body tag and the shipping date posted on your GS Historical Society documentation?
The car is out back in the heated garage and in its bubble - I can get that information this weekend. The original owners bought the car in November of 1970 as it sat in the showroom in Wilkinsburg.
