I thought 10-10 was a '70 GSX color only (not available in that year on GS models) and that Artic White was a '71 color available on GS and GSX models??? :Do No:

    Educate me.

10-10 was avaliable on a GS. I think someone has a Stage 1 car that is 10-10 and not a GSX on the board.

    I have seen a 70 GS 350 that color.

Apollo white and the regular white in 70, artic white, are the same color and are both code 10-10.

Someone in Buick marketing liked Greek Mythology and renamed Artic white on a 70 GSX "Apollo" white--probably to complement "Saturn" yellow. To my knowledge the Saturn yellow was the sole GSX only color since you could get a 10- 10 GS, non GSx, in 70 and 71 . I am unsure about 72.

To my knowledge all of the 8 or so GSX colors in 71 were also available for regular GS cars. Again I am unsure about 72 but presume the same circumstances continued.

I have a 70 white Stage 1 auto that I have owned since June 1975. I bought it 2 weeks before my 17th birthday. I am married 26 years and had my car longer than my wife :TU: I love them both but one alittle more than the other :Brow:

Then the owner of Cars paint code SHOULD be 10-19 instead of 10-10 if that is how it was ordered....

I have a 70 Stage 1 10-10 car that is not an original GSX, but is now a clone car. At least it is still the factory color, just some stripes added!

1970 GSX Saturn Yellow 455 automatic frame-off restoration with 70K original miles. Came from Texas and has never had rust. Numbers matching and documented.

Anyone that is not in the GSX registry. Please consider joining. It is free and it does still exist even though the website has not been updated in quite a while.

Father is orignal owner of 1970 Apollo White Stage-1 GSX unrestored. Still has it in the garage.

    Steve,

Wayne Roberts does this documentation. You need to provide the complete vin AND body number of your X for him to research it. Similar to the process Sloan provides for the early production 1970 Buicks. Wayne does a very nice job and it's great to have documentation besides just the buildsheet (especially if the buildsheet is missing). Plus, it's pretty cool to know what number your GSX is out of the 678.

    :TU:
    Regards,

    Eric
