Update; The car is still listed with the broker, but I thought I'd add that I currently DO have a title for this car. I thought it was not available (or I lost it), but I do have it in case someones wants to convert to a wicked street car. If I absolutely can't find a buyer after a given amount of time, I may do just that......... make this thing a wild street car! Steve
Car is SOLD. The new owner will be picking it up Friday. Thanks all!! See you in BG, (without the GSX!) Steve
Thanks Guy, Yes it's kind of sad, but I just don't have enough ca$h or room to stockpile my vehicles so if I want to move on to something different I'm forced to liquidate. Oddly enough I felt really bad while cleaning out my car trailer last night because that, as a whole, feels more like I'm "giving up", vs. just selling another car. My car trailer was kind of my "hub" for all race/show car activities for me for a lot of years. Now that I have a little piece of modern muscle (a 2007 Mustang GT500 Shelby), to use on an "as needed basis" for the summer months, I'll start searching for my next Buick project. I have some things in mind but I'll wait until things settle down...... that and I really need to finish my new house before starting a major car project again! (Also promised that to the wife!! LOL) Later, Steve
Thanks! It's going to a good guy. He's actually a Chevy guy! I think he'll have fun with the GSX. Steve
Wow Steve, I'd never seen the detail pictures before! Nice work! When the time comes you can always create something new Mark
Thanks Mark, That's exactly my reasons for selling. True, I'm sick of only having a drag car that I can't cruise in, and tired of doing it all by myself, but the true basis of the sale is that I honestly enjoy building them as much (or more sometimes) than I do owning and maintaining them! It's a sickness.... I know! One that usually costs me money to keep up with. That's why I'm re-grouping and re-thinking this whole thing. For now I'll just play with the GT500 and figure out what to work on next!! Steve
Steve this is the first time that I have seen some of the detail that you put into your car. Very impressive, very nice work. Rick
Thanks everyone!! It's funny how a persons mind can work. Even though I'm kind of sad I sold everything, my mind is racing thinking of what I'll build next! Sometimes that's half the fun.... dreaming about it!!
