Good luck with the sale Matt. :TU: Sorry to hear about all the heartburn this has been causing you. Who is this Gary fellow taking credit for my "Quote" in your description? It's on the first page of this thread.
I feel for you brother . This seems like a nice car that should be snapped up quickly . I do however feel that if you had fixed the little things like the seat which would cost around 250.00 with a new cover you might have sold it already . My experience with ebay and selling cars in general is that a guy paying close to 20k would like not to have to do work on it . That said I wish I had bought this one instead of doing my 70 thats still apart and in primer. WIth the cost of paint these days this car is a steal. Good luck with the sale .
Hi Matt - It looks like the auction is still on (link above), unless the seller is offered his full asking price (19K) prior to the auction's end.
I believe I spoke with Matt on the phone yesterday. Car is still available and the auction is still on. A gentleman is supposed to be coming from New York to look at the car on Sunday. If I receive a reasonable offer before auction end I have no issues with ending the auction. Thanks, -Mat-
We'll see! I am leaving in a few minutes to go out of town for the weekend so I won't even see the outcome! If anyone here wins the bid, call 203-521-7557 that is my cell phone. Thanks everyone for the support. -Mat-
Matt Let me be the first to congratulate you. I have watched this thread from the beginning and am happy that the car is finally sold. Even with the car sold, I hope we will hear from you every now and then. :beer Cheers Harvey
Not a bad showing Matt. You got pretty much what you were asking. :TU: And PLEASE!!!! For GODS SAKES!! Don't enter your ebay info into the link posted in the questions. It's a phishing expedition!!! If you did.. Immediately go and change your password!! Good Luck!!! :3gears:
Well The car sold for a cheap price......:Smarty: Years from now it will be worth a mint:beer :beer Billy.
Thanks everyone. Talked to the winner, his high bid was $20,100! Wish there were some more bidders out there! There will be tears coming from my eyes when it leaves! -Mat-
