Car is located in West Haven, CT 06516.
    52,5XX original mile car.
I inherited this car from my father whom some of you may know(Richard Visci).
My father purchased it mid restoration in the later 90's from the shop doing the resto(body on). I do not remember the exact finish date but it was a while after my father purchased it as my father was in no rush and the shop kind of "back-burnered" the car.
I would personally give the exterior an 8.5 out 10. It is not a car to take to the Nationals and place best of show with but it is a nice cruise night and local car show car paint and body wise. It does have new bumpers. Also has 15" wheels with new tires.
The interior does need some finishing. The front bench need to be redone along with some touches here and there. Wood grain on the AC/heater controls is cracking. Some of the chrome strips are showing wear. Everything is there, just needs finishing touches.
Under the hood is all there as well but could also use some paint and detailing. I did notice some pin hole rust under the battery tray.
Underneath the car is completely rust/rot free but would look great with a coat of paint as it does have spotty surface rust. Nothing major at all!!! The frame is Por-15ed I believe and so is everything behind the rear axle as is everything underneath from the firewall forward. I do not know why the center of the car was not done. :Do No:
I personally checked the motor and it is the numbers matching motor for the car with the VIN stamped on it. Motor runs strong and does not smoke at all.
The trans has a 70 BA plate. I do not know how to check for the VIN on the trans but will be glad to if someone tells me where to look. UPDATE: Trans is the correct one for the car!!! The trans has a Trans Go shift kit and works good.
The rear is an open rear and I am going to have to guess it has 2.73's but I am not certain.
I am asking $20,500 for the car.
Greatscat and jtroop have both showed me interest in the car and would of course have first "dibs" but I am open to all reasonable offers. Thanks, -Mat-

I just went to Matt's shop and looked at this car. And I'll honestly tell you all that if I had the space for it you'd all be out of luck because I would write him a check on the spot. :pp  :pp

But seriously. This car is all he says it is and more. It just needs a little TLC here and there but overall the way it sits I would not think twice about bringing it to a show. It is a beautiful GS. :TU:

Good Luck with the sale Matt. And get that GN together!!!!!

Dave, it was a pleasure meeting you. Thanks for posting your unbiased opinion. It helps because I know it is hard to purchase a car expecially when you can't just drive a few minutes and take a look at it. Again, thank you. Keep in touch. -Mat- :TU:

Mat,I remember when your Dad was showing me that GS a few years back-I agree with Dave,it is a beautiful GS. When Gary contacted me, I told him the car was in good shape, but just to make sure, I contacted Dave to verify that the car was still in the condition when I saw it years back.

Mat,I am sure you will get a buyer since your GS is in great shape.

I look forward to seeing you at the meets.

Thanks Carl. I look forward to seeing you this year as well. I didn't get out much at all last season. Once this sells I will finish the 4.1L for the GN polish her up and do some cruise nights. Should be a fun year. :) -Mat-

Great looking car and very reasonably priced I will say! That's only the second one I've seen in that color combo although I'm sure there are plenty others (of course it is the same as my Stage 1) Best of luck with the transaction.

PS - Brett, quit stringing me along these sleepless nights are killing me....

I will take a pic of the body tag today. Sorry for the delay, things have gotten a little busy at work lately.
I am open to offers as I have started to finish my GN and need some $$$ for that. Thanks, -Mat-

    Mat,

If you could post some interior and engine pics as well that would be very helpful.

Thank you very much Chris!!! It will be sad to see it go. I see a resto project in our future here, maybe one with a fuel injected 455. ;)
