Just pulled the car out of the back and did an oil change. While under I took a look at the trans and it is a numbers matching unit as well! I know some were curious about this.
I am gonna put some miles on it this weekend since it seems nobody else wants it>??? :Do No:

I will take $19,000 and deliver it anywhere on the eastern side of the Mississippi. -Mat-

I will be traveling to Frankfort, IL next weekend to pickup a vehicle. I can bring the GS with me and I will cover the shipping at a purchase price of $18,000. I know, short notice. I would have posted earlier but I thought the car was going to be sold. Just let me know if anyone is interested! -Mat-

    Back from my trip.

I am taking the car off the market. I can't deal with all the dreamers wasting my time anymore. Tired of getting my hopes up for a sale only to get told no thanks when it comes to making the deal. When I tell someone I want their car, I buy it! Maybe I'm different. I dunno.

Well lets just put it this way, if you SERIOUSLY want to buy the car, get in touch with. Otherwise it will stay and maybe go back on the market come Spring time.
    Price is $20,000. -Mat-

Yes! Seems like anytime I sell something on the web I am hassled with empty promises>??? If someone is serious about the car, pick up a phone, give me a ring and we can talk! I wish you had the dough too, I want to see it go to a good home. Happy Holidays! -Mat-

This is a NICE car,I was so close to buying it,even had a guy check it out personally for me,just before I could pull the trigger a local 70 stage 1 car that I've known of since 1983 was going to become available.Had to pull the horns in and wait for the stage.
Whoever gets this car will not be disappointed.

Mat, nice car and worth the money too. I'm sure you will get that for it, so don't worry.

Gary, I want to know if those 2 strips at the end of your driveway were laid down when you brought the 70 Stage car home? Nice car with lots of NOS Goodies in the trunk too.

    Good Luck Mat
    Dom

    Hey Dom
Those strips??? what you talkin' about? Oh,the black things, yeah thats rubber,I think the brakes stuck,no,the throttle stuck,no,I got distracted and accidently hit the gas, yeah thats it,thats the story and I'm stickin to it.Heh-heh.
The 71 may be faster than the 69 too but the 69 has nothing to be ashamed of,pretty quick in its own right.
    Have a Merry Christmas Dom

NOTICE TO ALL THAT ARE CONSIDERING BUYING AND RESOTORING A 1970 GS 455 :Smarty:

No empty promises here . I just wanted you to know that there is a buyer for this car , its way too nice to stay for sale for much longer . I am one of those that wishes he saved the money and bought a car like this instead of going headlong into a resto on a similar car . If I had done so ( listen guys ) I could have bought it and be driving it instead of finding rare parts and getting a paint job , with many hours and dollars yet to go  . I hope someone pays attention and thinks about this cautionary note . Good luck and I will tell anyone looking for a muscle car about it !
