Received my first Moderna shot on February 12. Just a sore arm for 2 days, no big deal. Getting the second shot this Friday March 12.

Waiting for you guys to give it the thumbs up.:D
I am not going to be inconvenienced having to drive 20-40 miles and then stand in line to boot, after you finally find a place that has any.
So far, it's been like trying to buy Buick parts, out of stock.:D so I'll wait.:):D

I asked the owner of a restaurant I frequent if he got his shot yet, he says he usually goes and gets a shot from his doctor when he feels bad, says he feels good so why go....

I received both shots of Pfizer (based on age and my teaching job) and my wife got her 1st (age based). 2nd one is scheduled for her in a week. The "living at home" kids have to wait so we're still not out of our cave until they too are vaccinated.

I did have ill effects from the 1st and some from the 2nd. The 1st shot made me very ill (flu like) for about 2 days.

One important point that some folks miss is that the longer the virus finds hosts, even if there are no symptoms, the more chances are that there will be mutations which may become resilient to the vaccine. If we take away the hosts by getting vaccinated the virus will die off.

Had my first shot (tequila) and my second shot (kahlua) at the same time last night, mixed with milk and coke. It went so well, I repeated the process several more times............. Felt better with each application.

I'll wait a few weeks before attempting further dosages. :D

This manufacturing info I did not know..
I never have gotten a flu shot either and maby in my 58 years I can remember getting the flu 2 or 3 times or at least feeling like I got the flu.
Now my friend and neighbor spend alot of time together but she baby sits her Grand children 4 times a week so I felt it was the right thing to do by getting it.
I also lucked out and got a slot for the shot relatively easily.
For what it's worth I got the Moderna shot.

Well. last February,I had full blown Covid and was down for 10-12 days. Honestly,I believed I wasn't going to pull through it at all. Was a month or so until I started to feel better. My wife Dee is an LPN at a nursing home and was tested every Monday and Thursday Since it began. She received her first shot (Pfizer) and within a couple days was tested and had a positive result. We were both quarantined from January 13 till the 27th. My workplace mandated I stay off for 10 more days. She showed some minor effects from the shot and I didn't have any issues. I am type 2 diabetic and am sure if I could have gotten it again or didn't have it in the first place,I'd have been sick..

Not yet, and likely won't get it until the fall, simply because our federal government goofed the whole pandemic and has made a complete mess of this process. Right now we're performing well if we're a third world country with no resources. Worse yet, in order to make up the shortfall, they stole from allotments destined for third world countries. I'm embarrassed and ashamed to be a Canadian right now.
Oh yeah, our Prime Minister is the poster-boy for Progressivism and all that is politically correct in this world...He's got great hair too.

I'll stop there because this could get very ugly and I'll get myself banned.

The good news is that of the 50,000 trial recipients for each company, those that did contract COVID (about 5%) none died and non had to be hospitalized. That was encouraging enough to convince my wife and I to get both of our vaccination. Sore arms for about two days.

Dang you guys are ahead of the world.

Here in Norway they are vaccinating according to age groups.
    (+ High risk person's)
Last week they where down to those aged 81 and older...

That's better than Manitoba, Canada where I live. If you're not a front line healthcare worker or similar, not part of the indigenous society, you must be over 85 to book an appointment. The Indigenous people here are more susceptible, so their age threshold is either 60 or 65. The gov't is now asking people to wait 4 months for their second shot so more can get the first one.

Using a 12 oz mug, begin with 3-4 ice cubes, or similar sized ice chunks. Add 1.5 ozs of kahlua and 1 oz of tequila. I use Jose Cuervo. Follow with 3-4 ozs white milk, and about 1-1.5 ozs of Coke. Stir to mix well, then sit back and enjoy. No need to puncture your flesh as you take dosages orally.
Important to note that several doses in quick succession could induce temporary paralysis, which gives this "vaccine" its name - Paralyzer. :D:D

I have heard of a blasphemous similar concoction whereupon vodka is substituted for tequila. A pox on those who dare such a travesty.

My mom got both of hers and came out fine. My wife and I will get the shot when our turn comes. The Polio and Diphtheria ones we got years ago seem to have worked.

I've had a flu shot maybe 5 times since becoming a adult. For the last year I've been wheezy in the lungs from smoking. I have also been aching in my joints, knees, wrist, arms every day when I get up, thinking I'm getting old. But whola, I got the Pfizer shot with no side effects. Arm was barely sore for 1 day. But I tell you that in 36hrs my wheezing was gone and I've not been aching upon awakening in the mornings either. I get the second shot March 15.

I can tell you that life has returned to nearly normal knowing I'm safer. I urge everyone to get a shot so we can have functions like the BCA, MCACN, SWAP MEETS, and SCHOOL again. So take one for the team ! Help America open back up.

First shot (Modena) a week ago. No aftereffects whatsoever. Will get my second shot at the end of March. What a relief! I would (of course) prefer Vodka, Gin, or Tequila.
