if your going thru the trouble of taking the uppers off and changing bushings,etc.. why not just buy a cheap pair of gbodyparts/speedway uppers and then your problems will no longer exist with the headers - $125 well spent in my opinion...

My TH400 transmission ... and modified 1973 Buick 455 H.E.I. with Hyper-Tech H.E.I. high-voltage cap & rotor are COMPLETED.:grin::grin::grin:

You need 2 right side arms. 91031133-R on speedwaymotors.com. Add the stock replacement ball joints ( moog k5208 ) for any 81-87 gbody that can be purchased through speedway or from your local parts house and your all set.

The Olds 307 is OUT! I started cleaning/repainting the chassis section in the engine bay ... and the rest of the engine bay today. The buick455 goes in TOMORROW for sure. :TU: The Griffin radiator and the chrome-moly upper control arms arrive tomorrow. We will begin as instructed via V8Buick.com with laying the headers in the engine's bay first.:TU::TU:

I build my motor my self with a friend. I dont know what im doing but he seemed to know. this is my second motor I blew I just want to dirve the car.

I just want to say good luck with the rest of the install. I am excited for you to be getting your car running and can't wait to put a 455 in my Regal next summer. for now its a piddly little SBC but next summer........look out!!!
