No BB this weekend, they had the diesel drags that got rained out earlier this year.

Prev at BB it hit 99mph in the 8th and 123 in the 1/4...so far we havnt added any power, just trying to get the 60's and et down and then well start adding more boost later in the year

and those passes were at 3885#s

well after dealing with a bad converter business everything is finally rolling agian.

Took it to the track friday night and i finally have some new best times for this setup!!!

1.72 60ft Left the line with 6lbs of boost at 3000rpm
    7.24 8th
    @ 97 mph

Previous best pass before the converter swap was a...
1.97 60ft Leaving the line with 2.5 lbs at 2300rpm
    7.64 8th

SO, not to shabby for a converter swap:TU:

The next pass after the 7.24 we turned the 2-step up 100rpm which made 6.4lbs on the line and it blew the tires off atleast half way down the track. In i few weeks ill be getting some MT dr's and getting the times down just a little further.

All this is still on 8lbs of boost and 364ci:grin:

What tires are you running now?

running the nitto555r drag radial, they last twice as long as the MT's on regular street driving, but MT's will always have more traction

    275-60-15's on a 10in wheel

I feel better. I thought you were gonna tell me you ran those numbers on sears radials or something. LOL

Damn. Why did you have to show me that?! The whistle of the turbo on the line is intoxicating. Reminds me of the GN days. That car motors hard and it does not even sound like it is working hard. That is gonna be a monster when you wick it up.

lol, i can barely hear the turbo spooling in the car over the 2-step, but when i saw the video i like it too

and your right about the motor not struggling to hard, YET, im going to get it to 7.0 or 6.9 with the same tune/boost that im on now, and in a few weeks were going to turn it up to 10lbs of boost, then later on this year it will see 12lbs, still on pump gas, and should be easy 6.5's or so....

LOOKIN GREAT very nice improvemet just sitting on the edge of my chair waiting for more boost and slicks please :eek2:

I did have some extra rims with slicks but i sold them a few weeks ago:Dou: .

Im ordering the MT drag radials tomorow, but im still going to try to get a lil faster on these nitto's first. And boost will get turned up 2lbs after the first track outing with the MT drag radials...ive been 1.55 60ft with those tires on my car and i know they can go faster so i prob wont buy anymore slicks till next year

And i wish this car would hurry up and be faster sooner but yea it just takes time and lil improvements...
    8lbs, 3000 stall, no 2-step, 2300 on foot brake = 8.0
    8lbs, 3000 stall, 2-step at 2300 on foot brake = 7.64
    8lbs, 3600 stall, 2-step at 3000 on foot brake = 7.24....so far

o yea, also got the new rear discs on with the higher stall, they def. hold alot better, no push at all...pump the brakes twice with the first bulb on, roll into the 2nd bulb, mash the brake and gas...turbo spools, and LAUNCH

watching that vid made me think about the gn of the ft brake 15lbs of boost the front tires would start to skid and wooooosh she off.

hearing that sound comming from your car blistering down the track

a little old school mixed with new school hp cant get any better .... i lied ...... yes it can just gotta turn up the boost ................

i have a 2010 challenger at the shop doing an sts rear mounted twin turbo kit 7 lbs cant wait to fire it up should be done sometime next week

ill be waiting for the next update

well, untill i turn my boost up some im stuck on getting a better 60ft...anywhere from 3100-3600 on the 2-step it stops at 6.5lbs on the foot brake so i know that is where my waste gate is starting to crack open. When we turn it up to 10lbs the WG will crack open later and ill be able to get more boost on the brake and better 60's and ets like usual.

tonight i got it down to 7.19 and stuck at 1.71 60's, Nitto 555r's still not spinning with a good burn out  ...MT's will be on there along with 10lbs of boost in 2 weeks at BB, i got told not to come back till i get a fire jacket and helmet at my local track :spank:

Your track let you race with no helmet?

NHRA rules, unless they changed it this year, you dont need a helmet till 7.30 et, i dont know what it is for the fire jacket but i assume its the same since i got told both

    99.2 100.19 mph
    11.06 11.04 1/4

thanks man, it is nice and so far no problems out of the motor at all...and one thing i also really like is i have absolutely NO oil leaks anywhere, one problem i always had with my buick motors.

This week my car is going back to the shop and going up to 10lbs of boost as well at getting the MT's on. Ill get back to the 8th mile track that fri, and the 1/4 in two weeks, so more better updates will be coming.
