I bet that nitrous makes instant boost. I like those videos. I forgot how much fun it was to watch a boost gauge come on.
Yea, nitrous kills the tire from a stop, havnt had that feeling in a while! and that 25psi boost was an accident, but it was a week of fun lol
I still think it is cool that I guessed 660 HP and it made 664 HP! Also cool I guessed right on what RPM it would peak! great work with your car! I know my Turbo Skylark will be a lot of fun!
It peaked at 6400 on dyno but runs ALOT faster at the track if I shift at 6000 and on that same dyno it probably makes close to 800 now

I am jealous of the light car guys too. They get to go faster for cheaper. There are so many LS powered mustangs with junkyard motors going nines it is crazy. But, I just could not own a car that ugly :laugh:
Thanks, 9.9 is the goal and should get it if I can find a cool day to go to bowling green. next goal will be 5.9, which is doable if it hooks and the boost it turned up on purpose haha
There is great weather predicted for this weekend, but our track does not appear to be open. If it was, I would be tempted to throw in an 80 jet tune and go for a 9 second pass just to say it will do it.
Our 1/4 will be open in 2 more weeks and I don't see it getting hot by then unless the weather just completely changes so it should happen..
