Once you put the turbo on you'll feel like an addict always wanting more boost lol

    Its 370 cu and a 75mm turbo
it made the 750 on 15-16 llbs
and the 915 was on a 50 shot of nitrous, and don't know why but on the nitrous the boost jumps up to 18-19 psi

More exhaust heat to drive the turbo. The GNs used to raise boost on juice too.

The nitrous gets that boost up real fast! It's just as addicting as boost to me lol

Well more carnage, went to the track and ran a 10.01 @ 137 with no 2nd gear and rpms not dropping at all even in 3rd.

trans is off to get fixed and converter to be tightened up and hopefully get that elusive 9 sec pass

    GSXMEN Got Jesus?

Guess that's both good and bad.

If it ran that strong having issues, you should have a pretty big smile on your face once it's fixed!:TU:

I sure hope so...1st gear was slipping too and only had a 1.60 60' so I lost .15 right there from the week before

Is this a 4l80E? What rear end gear ratio are you using again?

    buick46270 Well-Known Member

Yes it's a 4l80, when I first did the ls turbo swap the Trans was all electronic and shifted on its own, once I blew up the rear end I upgraded the Trans at the same time and now I've been running a full manual valve body for 2yrs or so

    3.54 gears in a Dana 60

That transmission would like you to know what it feels like to move 4000 pounds 1320 feet in 9 seconds. LOL.

i havnt checked yet..within the next few weeks i hope to be going back to bowling green and ill try to make a point of actually remembering to check this time...im interested to know as well.

but it doesnt really matter to me because most of the time im just driving around locally and i know im not getting any mileage out of it because im getting on it so much.
