Oh, the Iraqi journalist. He insulted Bush for what Bush has done to his country and countrymen(women and children,too). Bush's war fiasco has created thousands of orphans and widows plus destroyed a prosperous country. Most Iraqis seem to feel the same way. I have seen on the news before where Iraqis have said that it was much better under Saddam rule before we invaded.

Am I off the deep end seeing scary times the likes of which we have never seen in our lifetimes are on the horizon! ...That NASTY BIG BLACK STORM CLOUD YONDER is heading this way. Hunker down. I cannot sit back and watch this unravel. I cannot be a bystander BITCHING at one another, especially here where I try to escape from this mess to talk about BUICKS. I will not look around at the aftermath wondering who will pick up the pieces for me and my family!

My quick side note to recent posts...The rogue countries / LUNATIC rulers will use the Nukes and other unsavory destructive means to continue to cause mass casulty to de-rail the idea of democracy, capitolism & FREEDOM; how do we clean up that mess as oil tankers get blown up on the high sees, pipe lines sabtoged, food crops & water supplies poisoned...? Prevention is the key. Continue to pray for the US Leaders and the other leaders of the FREE world and especailly the brave who serve the military to remain steadfast to keep tyranny and mad men at bay; not always pretty now is it? But, we know if we give the nut jobs an inch, they will take it all.

As for a few posts back...Right on. Now that you mention it, what commodity was not subject to a "fuel surcharge" as the price of a barrel of oil was going up, and a gallon of gas finally started to bother the average Joe? The prices of goods went up in tandem (inflation)? WHOA!! Look at oil now, going down like a hooker at a hardware convention! Has any one seen prices come down on goods (food) as a result? The FED continues to Gut the interest rates and NO LOANS? The US dollar, the Bench mark of the FREE Worlds economic faith is under attack by our own government now with bail outs and stimulus plans our grand kids will not even be able to pay off if even an option?
Our enemies who seek to destroy US with the likes of 9-11 are reaping the harvest of their deeds and seeds planted by immoral and valueless leaders and their willing subjects (John Q. Public types). The enemy now sits back, puts destruction in motion and watches US destroy ourselves per their plan? It looks like text book terrorism for the US working its cancerous feeding on the healthy cell. WAKE UP PEOPLE! The country needs rally, not division.

aside from taxes, there's hardly been a single one of his domestic policies that i did approve of ( take illegal aliens, fer instance ). nor have i cared for much of his foreign policy work ( castigating Putin for his actions in Chechnya at the same time that we are in Afghanistan is hugely hypocritical ).

about the only thing Bush did have going for him is that he wasn't Gore or Kerry.

i'm not the one trying to deal with him ( or the rest of the candidates ) on a presidential analog of the Madonna/Whore complex.

the quality of all the major candidates since Bush 1 / Dukakis has been pretty damn sorry. going earlier than that, you'd probably have to get too Eisenhower to find somebody who wasn't a complete f-up.
