I found a page with pictures of the cars in Animal House, including that pretty Electra mentioned above :TU: http://www.acmewebpages.com/animal/cars.htm
Night of the Comet Night of the Comet has a 49 *I think* Roadmaster convertible in it. Cause what else are you gonna drive when everyone else has been vaporized or turned into a zombie? o No: It's a campy flick, but kinda fun and it screams 80's. ...and if cartoon cars count, I'm fairly certain I saw some 50's Buicks in Disney's "The Incredibles"
Best movie ever  except when they flip the 57 Chevy 210  In the first Terminator movie when Reese is following Linda Hamilton out of the garage you can see the rear drivers side quarter of a (64?) Electra 225
movies & buicks There was a movie with Sam Elliot that was out in the early 90's and he drove a GN. I can't remember the movie can anyone else? Mikey
Used cars. My favorite line in that movie. "$50.00 never killed anybody!" Then the 'ol man comes stumbling in and dies at the feet of the customer. "OK!, OK! you got a deal!"

I went and saw "Invincible" this weekend, really good movie and it seemed like there was a Skylark driving by in almost every scene. First scene has a Skylark in it, next scene is a bunch of guys pushing a GS convertible. The Skylark shows up all through the movie and then there is another one parked on the road later in the movie. I'm pretty sure I spied a few Electras in there as well.
no one mentioned this movie in this thread that i seen there is a new release out (sorta) called munich at the end the guy almost gets hit by a 71 skylark (year?) and then in the next scene the same car is parked on the side of the road i hope i didnt ruin the movie for any one because i didnt tell you that the lady in the white dress is really mr. x ou:
Another great line when they tap into the t.v. broadcast with their commercial: "$2500? Too f***ing high!"
Well....there's this real obscure movie, I think it's called "Casablanca". At the end, Humphrey Bogart and his lady get out of a '36 or '37 Buick convertible coupe right before she gets into the airplane and splits. A friend of mine owned this very car a few years back. Also, "Cool Hand Luke", Paul Newman rides back to the Greybar Hotel after his escape, in a '41 Buick woodie.
Where did you find a copy of that movie.I have looked everywhere for years and cannot find it. ou: One of my all-time favorite movies...."Hey Bimbo!! Kiss his ass !!!!"Him trying to yell out of the mens room window as the toilet was overflowing, while his partner was in the car drawing a fake mustache on himself trying to look like Lawrence of Arabia just kills me every time!!! Or the pledges rolling the tires through the ghetto while wearing dresses.Classic !!! You gotta help me find this movie, please !!!! ou:
As John (bigbadbuick) mentioned earlier, I saw Invinceble last night... Plenty of nice skylarks and gs. Apparently, they must have had many of them in Philly in 1976 to 1980??? :Brow: Oh.. buy the way... I thought the movie was worth watching too! :TU:
Yeah that actually kinda P'd me off when that rear end got ripped out, all for the purpose of entertainment :blast:
