Try the movie "Breaking Away" with Dennis Quaid and Daniel Stern about college age kids in Indiana getting into the "Little 500" bike race. Shot in Bloomington, IN. in 1979. Quaid drives a gold 70 Skylark jacked up with Cragars all arond. It's in a lot of the scenes and he even gets some rubber in one of them. It is a Great movie that is often overlooked.

The movie "Honey" Saw parts of this the other night, had a boat-tail Riv in one scene I caught. I don't know Rivy's that well, but with a distinctive rear end like that, it's a "can't miss". Jim
think i remember seeing a 71-73 riviera in "malibus most wanted" also, im pretty sure that the car "dawson" is driving in "varsity blues" is a 72 skylark.
There's a movie out there well below "B-Grade" that prominently features a 73 Centurion ragtop that gets beaten and bashed through the entire movie. I bought the movie for the car, but it got "lost" in the divorce. I can't remember the title but I remember the picture on the box showed them pushing a skylark convertible into a river. I always thought it was funny that the box had the wrong car. If anyone has an idea of what the title might be I'd be grateful. John

If I remeber correctly the movie Amityville horror. There is a 70 sport wagon parked along side the road when George and Kathy Lutz go into town in their Suburban.
in "malibu's most wanted" theres a 71-73 riv. can really remember but theres no mistaking a boattail. and in "varsity blues" theres a 70-72 lark. again, cant really remember but im almost positive its a buick. dont know if anyone else has noted these yet. if so, here they are again. pete

Was Hooper mentioned yet? I scanned through the posts and didn't see it. Towards the end of the movie, before the big jump, they are driving through an "exploding city". I swear I saw a 68-69 Skylark driving around. Anyone see it??

In Godfather(1972) There is two Buicks. One that Vito is in, and also one when Michale is hiding out in Sicily. Its a 40's Buick with right hand drive. Also in Out for justice with Steven Seagal there is a Buick GNX.
I recently watched a show called "A day without mexican" or something like that. One of the main characters drives a red GS convertable.
