i chose option 1 and just so you know i dont fly around blindly like a maniac. but i do drive my buicks (when running ) pretty much daily except when the roads are covered with salt in the winter and i do have a tendencie to knuckle it off the line when i feel its safe to. i know i'm bad. :spank:
Most assuredly! Yes indeed! When at a stop sign doesn't the STOP refer to "SPIN TIRES ON PAVEMENT"? That's the understanding I grew up with... p If one can afford the tires and if one is safe in doing it, I say, LIGHT 'EM UP"! But beware of the good ol' black and white as they would love to catch you doing same. Jim
Guess it depends when, where, who's looking, and what could the "consequences" be. :3gears: Im all for it! You guys know how to do a burnout, no doubt about it! Major props to the Masshole Republic. Just don't let the adrenaline get the best of your better judgment and all is good! :TU: And yes, they are cool. :eek2:
That's what our cars are made for right? As long as good judgement is used so no one gets hurt then what the hey? I don't get the burn out contests though with the front wheels chaulked and the back on a steel plate? A burnout's not just about smoke but length too.
ever hear the phrase, spinning your wheels? It means you're not going anywhere, standing still. I prefer acceleration, speed, g's and winning races but burnouts are a great crowd pleaser.
as long as they are from my team and rear wheel drive :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: ok so i gotta ask ......... :Brow: did anyone eve obtain a vidio of that light blue car in a hotel parking lot that used up a hole set of tires in 30 min?? :eek2: :3gears: :jd: :3gears: :jd: :3gears: :jd: gee how ironic ....huh? i was just wondering about that and like majik ...i dident even have to start a thread :TU: sr66 :TU:
I picked option 2, though I'd be more inbetween 1 and 2. They are cool when done sparingly and with discretion. Its a matter of timing. Unless its FWD - I can always use a good laugh.
spin-em if ya got em. and go down the street and turn around only to see the black streaks you left on the pavement still smoking. (who was that at Bruce and Sherls party?) though it was a turbo guy uzzled:
I like Burnouts that dont require ANY use of the brake pedal. i'm not the least bit impressed by somebody who has to powerbrake to get the tires spinning and then lets off the brake and keeps burning the tires. i like the kind of burnout where you stab the go pedal and leave a block of stinky black rubber. even more impressive is when you are rolling at about 30 mph and hit the pedal and start smoking the hides. i got more than one chevy guys attention that way lots of times. Bob :3gears:
hey GNflyby is that picture server a good one (i know nuthingabout this stuff) thanks a bunch sr66 :TU:
