She did not tell me where the car was located. So maybe you saw it sitting out there? Lots of people around Detroit remember seeing it sitting there for a long time.

I got a picture of the title from the Widow last night. I know the VIN number now. Originally, it was a white automatic 70 GSX.

Dang dude that sucks. I feel for you. Hope it turns up in one piece. Yeah I agree it does sound a little suspicious, the story. Pretty hard to hide or transport a yellow car like that without someone noticing you’d think. I know one thing for certain I wouldn't be storing anything I got there after seeing the care it gets.

After me and Sobotka left dream cruise, I was driving back to my sisters house and spotted it. Pulled into where it was sitting on a trailer. Working on trying to sort things out now to move forward with it. That’s all the news I have at the moment.

Doc, Very cool to hear you found it. I really hope this ends well and we see it in your driveway soon.

That's great news! If it was on a trailer I would of never seen it unless it made it out to Pontiac. I spent the weekend on the loop.

My family was camped out in Pontiac. That’s where we were for part of the day. As I was headed back to Milford, that’s when I spotted it. Made the contact, and now I am in hot pursuit!

When you confronted the people in possession of the car did they explain how they acquired it? Did they have any "documentation" of acquiring it "legally" from the storage yard? If you or the family of the owner has the legal title in hand can you not confiscate the car on the spot with the aid of law enforcement present?

I cannot speak to this any further at the moment. But I will update everyone at the proper time.
