OK guys, a long time friend of mine had a GSX that he owned since 1973. He recently passed away. The car is supposed to go to me however, it was in storage and somebody has acquired the car fraudulently. It’s originally a white 1970 GSX. The widow has the title in her possession as well as a bunch of the original parts. I am awaiting the final VIN number as we speak. If anything comes up regarding a white GSX trying to be sold, please report it to the authorities. The car has been painted yellow for many years since the 70s. However, it is originally a white car.

That’s a shame Darren, I hope it is found and in one piece.

Does this mean you found it? Or just last known pictures?

Shame the car or vehicle next to it got burned and damaged the other cars.
Good luck on your hunt and acquisition

If this car shows up anywhere on the Internet, Facebook or any other car website, it is stolen.

I will probably have the title in my possession in the next few days.

What a mess. Is this a impound yard?

When did it roll out of the lot in those pictures? Was that the last known location?

My friend had the car on a storage lot in Detroit, Along with that Monte Carlo shown in the pictures and some other cars I believe. My friend passed away in January. His widow tells me that someone acting as her, showed up at the lot and took the car or cars out of where they were stored. They must have paid some sort of storage fee. That part I’m not sure of. Anyway, the cars are now missing. She will make a report to the police this week. She has the titles to the cars.

From memory, I believe the GSX was a non-stage automatic. I don’t remember if it had air conditioning or not. It was originally a white car painted yellow since 1974. Rich Johns may also have some information regarding the car as he knew some of these guys around the Detroit area. Rich was aware of a guy named James who we originally purchased another white GSX from back in the early 90s.

Someone had to see the car being moved . A Yellow X on a trailer or rollback will draw
attention, ask around the neighboring streets .
    Hope you have sucess .

Seems like the storage lot is responsible.
Maybe have her file suit for replacment?
