BTW, any brown you see in that oil is from the quart that I poured thru after the grey goo came out. Carb was totally gummed up. Put another carb on and she fired right up. Changed the oil/filter twice.......still grey.

Man, so your are gonna sue right? I would ask the lawyer if he would go after assets and not just money. As a business he can claim being in the red with no money to pay out. But his equipment, tools and pick up are not in the red. I know a guy who sue and won $2000 from a woman who owned a bar and a 7-11. She never paid up as by the books she never had any money.
It's not over until I collect the $1500 he promised me. May have to bring some reinforcements....... On retrospect, I should not have left the place without $$$. What kind of business doesn't have $1500 in the bank with 15 cars in the shop????

The ironic thing is that somewhere there are people that would defend the owner of the shop. They would tell you that he did a good job on other cars and that you are just a troublemaker. There are also people on this board who would want this negative thread stopped and would report you and others for negative posting. I for one understand what you have been through and how you feel. There are many here who could care less and still others who would make you the bad person. There are folks that would agree with you and empathize with you in private, but would never publicly defend you or tell what they know, or publicly take a stand. I for one hope you destroy this guy. He is a piece of crap; a con man and everyone should know it. I have had my fill with all of the non-sense that goes on with these shops when they get a hold of these cars and our money. This type of thing can get very ugly. Very ugly.
Still no check.....was due end of July. Called him and he said he sent it out asked for the address again and said he got the numbers wrong on the address and he said he would cancel the other check and put another check for $1500 in the mail today. I said won't you have to pay like $30 to cancel it? He said that's no problem at all. What a lying sack...... The only way I believe I am getting a penny out of him is if I (or a possy) go and choke it out of him. :blast: :af: :moonu: But.....I will wait another week and see if anything shows up......GRRRRRRR
