Actually, my brother was into the 68 and 69 cars as he started out in 1971 in high school with a white 68 skylark coupe with a black interior and Cragar SS wheels. He went to a 71 Skylark ragtop in 1973 and back into a 69 GS 400 in the early 1980s and has had a couple of 69 GS 400 coupes that were transients. I had a 68 GS 400 coupe that was rusty but fast in college in the 80's that was cool but ended up getting parted out. I just started to appreciate the droptops because there is a rear angle shot that you either love or hate and I guess I have decided its pretty cool! Really I would take any 1965-75 Skylark or Century Gran Sport which has been my problem since 1983.
Heres a pic of our 69 4 speed stage 2 car from Muscle Car Review in 1988. Obvious we have a love for the 68-69 body style. how about a collage' of several 68-69 on a shirt? gary
Yes, great picture. What's all this about 68's and 69's? They are cool! My wife drives around in our '69 custom every day and everyone in DC loves it.
the t shirt idea is great, you could include a picture of my wife Phyllis, she is a redhead, born in 68 and was a step child, isnt it odd she would end up with a garage full of 68-69 buicks, our 68 skylark was her first race car Bryan
Count me in too!! I like a collage on the back and maybe the 69 trunk emblem where the pocket would go on the front with a clever saying ...
Do you have one at a slight angle that shows the front vents on the fenders too? I will need something that has little glare from the sun and is large enough the the resolution is good.
No sorry, all the pictures I have like that have alot of glare. I'll see if maybe tomorrow I can pull the car out and snap a good one.
Nick, Be sure to have the sun at your back, but don't let your shadow creep into the photo. If the person putting together the collage is planning on using photoshop and doing much editing, it's also easier if the background isn't cluttered. It makes it difficult to mask off the image of the car. Things like a field of green grass are much easier to deal with.
You know I forgot that I had that on My PC I have a much larger version of it. I think we have some stuff to work with.:beer
