There are several options. Some people make their own out of an old distributor, like this one on E Bay,

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/BUICK-455-G..._Automotive_Tools&hash=item564e21e74c&vxp=mtr

Their are also tools for sale like this one TA sells, http://www.taperformance.com/proddetail.asp?prod=TA_1509

Or you can use a screw driver, and socket, and make your own. Use your imagination. All you need is something you can use to engage the shaft and slot on the pump drive, and something to hold it on the shaft(socket) when you chuck it to a drill

I will be posting videos shortly after I get my carb fixed. It was making a loud scream noise so we figured it was the thing that I just forgot the name of. But anyways I will get some videos up soon. I promise.

Sounds really good:TU: You said your going to get rid of the fixed blade fan, thats a good idea! If you can, put a clutch type fan on it. The fixed blade and flex fans create ALOT of drag on the engine, plus noise.

Thank you very much for all of the helpfull comments.
I was thinking the same thing about the fan, more rotating mass less horse power.(more noise)

    What clutch should I buy?

See if you can get an OEM fan with the thermal clutch. Check the "for sale" section.

I don't know how you guys feel but I don't trust those style air cleaners, I have heard some stories about them coming apart:Do No:

Car sounds great! what do you have for an exhaust? It will sound a lot better with a clutch fan. I enjoyed the difference between that and the stock fan more than when I went from turbo mufflers to 2 chambers:cool:

I wish my car was at that stage when I was 17. Instead I had some lame 4 door car with no engine:laugh:

By the way, what was your total build cost for the long block?

X2 on the air cleaner, the sponge material will dry out and chunks of it will get sucked off from engine vacuum and get sucked in the engine. Don't think it will hurt it,will just probably burn in the combustion chamber, but still, you don't want that to happen just in case. I know because it happened to me with the fly eye air cleaner I use to use.

    Good job by the way.:TU:

Hahaha thank you everyone. wait till i put my next video up, its way better. The whole engine costed right at 1000 dollars, some more if you include shift kit, trans fluid, motor oil, break in oil.
I have stock single exhaust with a rusty stock muffler lol.
I am also saving up some money to do the fan and air cleaner:)
