Ken Bets is planning to make the 350 alum heads but he is working with TA so that he does not overlap with what TA had planned. If TA makes a street 350 alum head then Ken will make a race 350 alum head. I have a feeling that TA will not do a 350 alum head though and Ken will start with a street version. Ken is trying to complete the 455 head project they are doing before they move on to the 350 heads... I stashed away $3000 towards alum heads for when they are ready...
I talked to Mike this week about several heads. I told him I would do a street and race intake and exhaust port for a standard bore 350. I think we can start in a couple weeks. Sorry for the big delay but we built our own flow bench with 8 motors. We can flow 600 cfm heads. Our 455's are almost ready to drill the bolt and pushrod holes.
I have a sneaking suspicion that once the aluminum 350 heads are close to becoming available, the shorty headers will take off as well.
I just tore down a spare 68 350 that I have here and the core shift is very minimal. I might build a 369 inch stroker engine with it and slap the alum heads on that.... Top it off with the twin turbos and give my 1000 HP rated 4L80E trans a workout!
