I picked mine up today. I got 23 of them for $1.76 per filter! I guess that'll do me for a while! I wish they would put the 15w50 Mobile 1 oil on sale now!:3gears:
I noticed Royal Purple has come out with an oil filter. anyone know which one fits our cars? Their site goes to like 1985 and that's it
As of 7:30 tonight there are none left in the Advance distribution chain and no more can be ordered from the manufacturer. They are officially classified as obsolete in the database.

I went to my local Advance store yesterday afternoon to see if I could find any filters. No luck. So I got the girl at the counter to look them up. No luck. As a matter of fact, the computer showed that there are none in the entire system. She showed me the screen. So...... If anyone can get some, I would like for you to buy a dozen and ship them to me. Went to a local Advance this afternoon at about 5:00 PM. I was able to get one on order for $1.95 but only one left on inventory in my area. I told the guy that worked there, "one is better than none ".................Mac
John, I called my local store and asked if they had any, of course they did not. She said that they did not have any at their warehouse but she could order them direct from K&N. I asked her to ship them to my house but she said she could not do that because AutoZone is paying for the freight so they have to come to the store. I said no problem, call me when they come in. I will probably order more if I can. Tim
Use the Wix on the dyno and save the K&N. Its not like the Wix is a junk filter. My engine builder would only use Wix on his dyno.
Why would anyone stop carrying a part that fits so many vehicles? I would use K&N if their price was just a bit higher than AC but at 3 times the price I am out. The AC part is still a good part IMHO locally the price is listed at 14.79 to 16.39 Thanks for the heads up I received 13 at the lower price

picked up my 12 today and ordered another 24. Lon, you cant call, you have to go to the store and when they look up the part they will tell you they dont have any and their warehouses dont have any either, tell them to go to their supplier. they can get them, it takes a little more work on their part but if they are somewhat computer literate they can figure it out.
I went in to Advanced today and asked the counter kid to look it up and to his suprise it was there just as stated in this thread. I bought the last 13 in florida, or so he said I also got my commercial discount so that brought the price down to 1.91 each. I then went across the street to Orileys and asked to price match the filters. They said there price was 9.00 each and he couldnt touch it. same story at Auto Zone.
