Boy, now wouldn't that just be the ****! Well, let's all hope Advance has an up to date inventory system
I'm not sure if they are discontinuing them....as i said, i bought 6 of them last summer for $1.95 and i know the warehouse has restocked them because i work at Advance Auto Parts on weekends Although when AAP discontinues stuff they always sell it for $1.95 or .95....but usually that price only lasts for 1 month and then the product is sent back or destroyed in some cases. I dont know...i guess we will see if they re-stock any after you guys clean them out...if you havent already!! I'm curious to check my local warehouse numbers for remaining stock and how many are committed for purchase...last i checked, as of last week, Delaware had 144 available before i ordered my 10 filters. I have 14 left...that should last me several years with 1 car. I'm glad you guys are making out on this deal!! It was too good NOT to tell anyone!! :beers2:
I have always used them. My machinist tells me every time he cuts one open for me, that he his very happy that I use a good quality oil filter, not junk. Good enough for me
When I ordered mine it showed Delaware with 94. When he first pulled it up to check price, it showed there were 4 available for next day. I assume a local warehouse or another store. Just seconds later when he submitted my request for 10, those 4 were gone.
Just called the local AAP and their warehouses are all out of them. They can still order through their aftermarket supplier for like $16ea. I was like, yeah, ok, right...
Well, just called the store i work at....there are now NONE available out of the Delaware warehouse. I think there were 1 or 2 left in Salina KS. The only place you MIGHT be able to find any remaining is in your stores local part hub. I'm in Northeastern Wisconsin, and my HUB (which is where next day parts orders come from) is in Chicago. I'd be suprised if ANY local stores carried these filters in stock. Now we wait until sometime next week to see if they replenish warehouses....
Went to Addison, IL store. None there, two allocated already to another store. So none in the burbs. Get out there and find some filters! :bglasses: Mobil did this a few years ago, but it was .01 at Autozone.
Pretty much out in South Florida - this started last year! I got in on the Mobil1 filters AND the K&N Filters when I could. I have a good inventory!
Mike I wonder if as was mentioned that Salinas has the numbers because when I went they were coming from Salinas and they had 12 left. I bought them or at least ordered them. I might not get any if they had 24 and you bought them. We'll see who ends up with filters and who gets a refund.o No:
huh, wish I could go in one of those stores but I do not since they always open across the street from real auto parts stores that have knowledgable countermen. AA always hires dummys here and I like to keep my money in my economy locally. Chris. enjoy the discounts tho.
I just order 12 from a store in NW Illinois at $1.95 each. The gal claims I should have in a few days. I can only hope. I want to pass on 1/2 of my order to a great guy that built my 455. I hope I can share in the wealth. Norm :dollar:
I would like to see a total on here of how many filters V8 members have actually bought. My bro and me: 80 filters
