I'm with you on these As for the interior, my favourite is Brad Conley's 1970 GSX prototype. The prototype's upgrade door panels are nice, too bad it didn't see production! I also like the 1967 grille and the 1970 GSX rear end. And I do like the 1973-74 Century Gran Sport. As for the 1968-69, I think that this body style looks best on the Sportwagon 400. I wish the 1967 Sportwagon 400 also had the 400 engine and the Special/GS grille but it didn't. Now my favourite GS model is the 1966, the 1966 Wildcat Gran Sport!
Its hard to pick just one, they are all great. I decided to be one of those who likes to be different and went with the 73. The 74 is close but they loose something in the rear view due to the redesigned bumper and trunk lid and taillights.
That was a tough choice for me! It was between the '65-'67 & the '73-'74. I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, like the looks of the '73/'74s BUT something about the '67 is just sssssooooo sexy, & obviously RARE, with that long body. Especially in a FAST-STREET-CAR! :3gears: Wished there was more of these model year GSs/Larks out terrorizing the streets & strip with 600HP! So I voted '67. Not a Ponitac fan, but I like that '65-'67 body style of the GTO also in those years, though they differed some from Buicks body-style in '65, '66 & '67 was close.
But view the rear end...and the '72 "stands out" with the neat rubber/vinyl surrounds around the tail lights! Really makes the car!! Gotta Love It!
89 up not on there 66 is my fav 67 is close second since there so close in body but i like the black outed tail and grill and less protruding scoops and i love the smooth recess in the seem of the hood (the part were the sphere goes on the larks) and the nailhead is just a pretty motor the pic of the 66 on the link could be better
Another 70 and a 4SPD--to boot! Love shifting gears!!!:3gears: and a 3" exhaust aint bad either! Pete
