"Red Rock West" features a great action sequence with a '73 Riviera. I've got one frame as my avatar. Great stuff! Get a clip here: http://www.buick-riviera.com/movies.html And that is exactly my car. (At least the outside.) Maybe that's why the frame seems saggy.

I actually watched "Bullitt" this past weekend just to see how many Buicks I could find. Spotted quite a few, probably missed some, but didn't pay any attention to that car chase scene :Brow:  Ya right. :3gears: :3gears: :3gears:
"Me Myself and Irene" a 68 LeSabre 4 door hardtop. For those who like Buicks so much that they don't care about the language used in the movie  : A french movie from 1968 "L'homme la Buick" with a 67 Skylark. Another french language movie (french canadian this time) "The Rape of a Sweet Young Girl" with a 67 Skylark Convertible. A strange french-Canadian movie from 1976 "L'Eau Chaude, L'Eau Frette" for 1971 Centurion Convertible fans.
Another with a 65 LeSabre, not a movie but a music video from No Doubt "Just a Girl" Feeling Minnesota a 67 Electra 225 4 door hardtop. Matilda a 1970 Electra 4 door hardtop.
Don't know if anybody put this in there, but I just saw an electra or lesabre in Look who's talking 1989 in the last scene.
I used to have a '61 Invicta which was used in the movie "Patch Adams" with Robin Williams. It was in a scene that only lasted a few seconds and showed the right rear of the car.
65 skylarks/goodfellas They missed the two 65 skylarks in "goodfellas" one was green/4door and a red convertible if I remember right and the riv in the movie is a 65 not 64 o No: Gary/Moz
"lovers lane" was some flop made in washington- it had that rocker wife Courtney Love in it. never got to see it. I have the 73 electra from it. they broke the left rear window in the movie i was told and the top had red oxide primer brushed on it..
Used Cars The opening of Used Cars involves Kurt Russell rolling back the mileage of his personal Buick Centruion convertible and baiting a customer to buy it. This is a highly underrated comedy with plenty of classic cars from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Here's the dialog of selling the car: Where are you going, pal? Come on back here! Hi there! How you doing? This your ten dollars? I saw it floatin' underneath there Here you are. What's your name? - Stanley Dewoski. What a coincidence! Rudy Polanski. I like that watch... great shoes! - Thanks. So, you want to buy this Buick, huh? You got good taste. Nice to see somebody on this lot who knows a good car when he sees one. So...we write it up? - Actually, i was just looking. Hey, terrific! Here you can look, browse, taste, smell, do anything you want. Nobody's gonna pressure anybody around here.......I really think you ought to buy this buick. You ought to buy it right now. This buick is you. This is your car! Stanley Dewoski is Buick Centurion convertible. You're thinking, "can I afford to buy a car like this?" You can't afford not to buy a car like this. When you add this whole thing up, you'll come out dollars ahead. The prestige of owning a Buick Centurion can't be measured in dollars and cents.
Ken's Wildcat is a '66 2 door hardtop. This one is a black '65 4 door hardtop in bad shape, just like mine! Mine even makes a lot of blue smoke like this one when I drive it fast for a few minutes... I'm wondering what causes that? Bad valve seals (I mean valve guides), worn rings or could it be the PCV valve? My 67 Riv did that a few times too with a freshly rebuilt engine...
1st time I have seen this thread. Started out bad Huh. Give the gal a chance we are not all puuurfeect mon!! IT IS ALL GOOD p :beer :bglasses:
Phil, I know Ken has a '66 2 door hardtop, but when Ken needs another car, this one will be his next!!!!! :eek2:
