    SmittyDawg Need another garage....

Brett - The MOA is a monster for sure, and it sounds like they are going to double it's size on the property across the street where the old Met Center (North Stars) amd Met Stadium (Twins/Vikings) used to play.......unbelievable!

Anyway, the first annual BPG Nationals will be held at the Quaker City Raceway in Salem, Ohio on August 12th - 15th. Should be an awesome event with plenty of classes for racing and car show as well. Ther may even be a beverage or two consumed in the evening hours  .

Of course there will be Buick vendors showing their product, and lots of die hard Buick folks there to help make our cars run faster, or just to BS and party with! The specifics as to show classes, race classes, times, etc are just being finalized, as is the list of hotels and their rates for that event. An update will be given on the BPG board (www.buickperformancegroup.com) as well as this board as soon as the details get nailed down. Should be soon........you'll just have to think about putting down the TPS for that weekend!:eek2:

Look forward to seeing you again.

P.S. If you're there, you'll definitely get aride in the GS!:TU:

    Winter

Since the car ran great last summer, I'm going to ....... tear it apart and mess around this winter!

Seriously, heads are coming off for a going-through. New cam, timing chain, and lifters are probably in the budget.

Fix tha air will remain as the last item on my to do list.

    My plans

Well, I already installed my new dave ray distributor, so thats done. Otherwise, the plan is as follows.

    1. Mount the snow tires.
    2. Drive

I see #2 as both good and bad. Good, because I get to drive it in the winter, no waiting 'til spring. Bad, because I get to drive it in the winter, in the snow and salt.

And if time and money allows, I might just put in my posi unit w/some improved gearing to go with it.

Well, since I've met my goal of having a 11.5 sec. "Street Car", I'm going to do a little bit of cosmetic upgrades.
New fiberglass hood is already at the painters.
    Rear bumper getting new chrome.
Getting the drivers bucket seat fixed.[small tear in the back].
Re-painting the trunk with Eastwoods splatter paint.

I'll probably do a little detailing in the engine bay also:TU: :TU: :Smarty:
