I started it up, backed it out of the shop, and then loaded outdoor furniture to the storage space above. Then I started it back up, parked it safely out of the weather, and put on the cover to protect it from our pesky cats!

Last week I sent down payment for a 482 shortblock build and got on the waiting list at T/A for a set of Stage 2 Street Eliminator heads. Next summer should be fun.

You'll probably still be waiting for parts next summer.:(

Walked by it and stared at the posi rear sitting on the pallet Brian Trick shipped it to me on last month.

One of the guys that I trust to work on it is hurt and the other is swamped. I wish my shoulders and neck would tolerate doing the job myself so I could drive it with the new gears.

1973GS, that is a definite possibility. I hope not though. About 20 years ago I waited a full year for a set of stage 2 heads before I finally gave up an bought ported irons.

I replaced something called a secondary choke pull off valve. At least I think that's what it's called (?) It was a white plastic diaphragm thing on the the passenger side of my carburetor. I found it split in half and laying in pieces a while back. I also found a few of stacks of $100 bills under the back seat.

The vacuum valve part is true.

I finished installing my new Magnaflow exhaust system today. I am getting so close to finishing my car! Fortunately I have stockpiled all the parts I need. I just need time.

Finished assembling the Wildcat center console. Got a few more items on the dash board to put together then do the door cars and rear pieces. Never figured there would be so much involved in changing int colors. It will be worth it!

Friday I decided it was time to clean the garage. It has gotten so bad in the garage that I literally get claustrophobic when I walk in it. I backed the Skylark out of the driveway and put it in the backyard, and then I put the GS convertible in the backyard. I went in the garage and stared and stared. It put a giant knot in my stomach. Then my son called me and told me my grandson was going to be in his first BMX race. That was a good enough excuse to quit what I was doing and go to the BMX track where I watched my grandson get second place in his very first race. He was so excited when he received his gigantic trophy.
Saturday morning I ate a hearty breakfast and went back out to the garage. Again I got a giant knot in my stomach. The garage was such a mess I didn’t even know where to begin. Somebody told me to just start in one corner and work your way out of it. By the end of the day I had made a pretty good dent on the garage, but it’s still not exactly what I want. I think what I really want is for my two sons to take all their Buick crap out of my garage and bring it to their houses!!!! This past week I put in a new BeCool aluminum OEM looking radiator w/a 180-degree thermostat in my '70 GS455. It has made a WORLD OF DIFFERNCE. She's gone from running hot or actually boiling over to staying between a 1/4 and 1/2 on the temp gauge. Hardest part (as is always for me) was getting that lower transmission hydraulic line fitting to line up and install properly without cross threading... but we did it! (My father-in-law helped).

Many years ago when I was younger (2005 to 2008) and had a lot more money, I had a GS 455. I put a Ron Davis two row (big tubes) radiator in it and it really cooled it down. Before installing that, I tried to cool it down with a 454 Chevy truck fan clutch, but it was so loud it was incredible. And it noticeably cut down on power. Oh well, I still have that fun clutch if anybody wants it. But you will not like it .

Actually, I thought it was in its original box, but it isn't. I must have thrown it out. I've attached a couple pictures for you to see.
