I finished up my new trailer, we put the decals on it today with the warm dry weather.

The virgin shortblock is together and painted, the heads are fresh with new valves & guides by Mike of TA Performance.

I have installed a line-lock, not because it’s a race car, but because I like smoky burnouts and with a 4-speed it’s a bit easier.

 

Slow day so I installed the auxiliary gauges today.

 

What brand wheels are those you used? Was the old steering wheel in good condition or cracked?

 

The old steering wheel has a crack but very fixable, the wheels are stock Buick Steelies.

 

Very cool, build, and documented improvements along the way.

 

Finally back in Arizona to do the final assembly, plan to have it running on the test stand by Saturday .
