Yeah, That was a cheap shot! Jump on a guys back after he scores just because you suck is definitely not the way to play.

Culpepper is the starting quarterback on my Fantasty Team and I'm having trouble winning now.

Sure, there are inaccuracies in that long anti-Bush rant.

But, I'll bet that those complaining would love it and certainly wouldn't question it if the subject were Bill or Hillary Clinton.

I see slanderous garbage being passed around the net again and again by unquestioning Limbaugh-lovers.

But, boy do they howl if they get some of their own medicine!

I personally am surprised by the Cowboys and their ability to win...I wonder how long it will last, or, are they settling in and getting better? Boy, that Jets game was painful to watch. I wonder if Vinny has lost his touch.
How about Plummer? I thought it was a mistake, but he's shown grit when he's got some protection, and some guys who can get open...and can catch what is thrown their way. ?Bucs repeat? This is shaping up to be an exciting season. Dan

If only a TE could carry a team, Desmond Clark is looking good in Chicago. Kordell you suck! Rush Limpbaugh should have directed his racist remarks at you.

I dunno, I thought Kordell did pretty well the other night. Face it -- every time he dropped back to pass half the Pack's linebacking core was already in his face, with a blitzing safety or unblocked defensive tackle thrown in to boot.

He wasn't perfect when he rolled out, but at least it gave him a chance. And the option didn't fail every time -- on average it did better than the drop-back. Geez, get a blocking scheme, will ya?

And oh yeah, I miss the riggo drills. Riggo right, riggo left, riggo up the middle. Hogs leading the way.

And how many people even realize that Joe Theisman's name was pronounced "theesman" until college, when he / the school changed it for a "theisman rhymes with Heisman" campaign.

Best thing about his broken leg was that it kept him from ever punting again. Couldn't someone have broken his jaw?

I grew up with "Hail to the Redskins" --the best damn team song ever. Now I'm down in Miami with "Miami has the Dolphins, the greatest football team, they move the ball...", yada yada yada. God does that song suck.

And the worst thing was, the Oilers stole it! have some taste, eh? S**t like that is what doomed that franchise, I suppose.

    And Finally...

Hey Rush -- nice knowing ya. See ya, wouldn't want to be ya, happy trails ya big doofus. Don't know what team you're rooting for but they're probably wearing white. Most likely with matching hoods.

    GURU's of politics....

    Hi Ken,
How are you? Did I ever tell you how much I like the quote in your signature? I chuckle every time I read it!
I greatly enjoyed our messages back and forth in regard to the pre-Iraqi invasion, especially the thread "If you are still against the war read this."

At the time you were solidly in the "LET'S GET 'EM" camp, all geared up for the Iraqi invasion. No doubt you are still in that camp but I am just curious to your ideas on the following:

Intelligence information was fabricated about Iraqi WOMD. I think this is related to the leak the White House is investigating now.

    http://edition.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/07/06/sprj.irq.uranium/

The CIA has failed to find WOMD and offers nothing in the way of evidence to the Congress. Do you still think that they are there, or perhaps moved to Syria? If so, what difference does it make if Saddam didn't even elect to use them even when the end of his reign appeared imminent?

    http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/10/02/sprj.irq.kay/index.html

Finally, Bush has admitted that Saddam had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11, despite the fact that he had hinted frequently that Saddam had some involvement. Facts just seem to get in the way. Fifteen of the eighteen hi-jackers were Saudi nationals but we attack Iraq? Meanwhile the wealthy Bin Laden family escapes the US without any FBI questioning.

    http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tri...bune-review/specialreports/iraq/s_155564.html

Bush has recently asked for another 87 BILLION for Iraq from Congress. That is a lot of money! A low cost for an end to terror right? Wrong, I see no exit strategy for Iraq and our boys continue to be the focus of daily attacks over there.

    http://www.ohio.com/mld/ohio/news/transportation/6796480.htm

Lastly, despite the removal of Saddam from power, we have failed to kill or capture him. This in itself is a disturbing.

    http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/08/04/sprj.irq.main/

What do you think Ken? Still think the Iraq war was a necessary move? Are you going to vote for GW? I will not, and I would have if only he could have sent me and wife those two checks while cutting Federal spending instead of increasing it. I saw no political humor in the start of this thread. I see even less as this Iraqi war deal unfolds and the government once again expands at a vicious pace.

Hey Brian, hey guys...Glad you like my Sig. :)

Man, I hate politics. I've been starting to "attempt" to turn over a new leaf and stay out of these things. You'll notice I haven't posted in here. :)

I refuse to get into any more heated rants on here. All I can say is, since the war "schedule" isn't meeting people's expectations, do we just abandon it?

Would it have been nice to discover 3 nuclear bombs and 500,000 pounds of the Ebola virus? Sure. But we didn't. What can I say? A horrible dictator is on the run and people oppressed for decades can speak their mind now. If that's the best thing to come out of this, that's not so bad, but somehow, having Hussein out of power makes me feel that much better.

Yes, I totally 100% agree that we give the Saudi's a free ride all the time and that's the one thing that sickens me. I cannot understand it for the life of me. Unless we cut all ties with Saudi Arabia, I see this BS continuing indefinitely.

We've got a lot of people and countries onboard with this effort. I think it is less safe to be a terrorist today than it was a year ago. That in itself is a good thing. Much more needs to be done though. We need to put a noose around our borders and stop worrying about offending people.

I don't know who here lives in CA, but you guys must be banging your heads against the wall after hearing that illegal immigrants over there can LEGALLY obtain a picture Driver's license. I've heard of liberal, but folks, that adds new meaning to the word. Even my ultra liberal friends must question that to an extent at least. Think about it, a terrorist comes illegally over the border from Mexico, obtains a LEGAL drivers license, and he's on his merry way into the country to poison and harm you and I.

We are very hard to figure out. I have given up trying.

    My .02:

It doesn't bother me one bit that any WMDs have not been found in Iraq. That doesn't provide any evidence that they aren't actually there or have been moved. What's important is that a dictator known to have used them--even on his own people--is less likely to use such weapon as a direct result of our intervention.

The very same dictator is also no longer oppressing a people who should have been free and wealthy. These people now have the opportunity to rule themselves, and are indeed headed in that direction.

Terrorism will be with us for a long time, if not indefinitely. I believe our efforts in Iraq have sent a clear message to terrorists and have had a favorable affect from our standpoint. They will surely continue to fight, but with greater hardship so long as we continue to fight back. They claim to be standing up for what they believe in, so we'd better be standing up for what we believe in. It's a proactive world. Someone on this board has a quote in their signature that reads: It is sufficient for evil to prevail that good men do nothing. (Or something like that.) How true.

If we had put as much effort into capturing Bin Laden in the 1990's as we were with Hussein this year, would 9/11 have happened? I would venture to say no. I accept that terrorism exists and will find ways to inflict harm, but we can reduce the damage if we get off our duffs and do something.

We live in a free society with freedom of the press, but don't think that the media is immune to biases. The media is a business, and where money flows, so does the pursuit of it. Sensationalism sells, not boring stories about the slow rebirth of a country once oppressed.

I see past the smoke of critical debate, endless murmuring of opinions. I see a country who stands up for itself and for others and I'm proud to support a President who feels the weight of his calling, facing up to the challenges and honoring the principles this country was founded upon. He's not perfect, nor is this country, nor is anybody.

So rave on, critics of community, sleepers of responsibility! Glean those fields of debate with slothful combs of delight; harvest 'till the sun is swallowed and give rest. Never mind your neighbor's labor nor bother the walls of your house from them. Sleep. Sleep.

    And God speed.
