Has anyone heard any updates on Guy? I'm hoping he is in detox. He is in a bad spot right now and I'm worried.
I just hope he has to be with no posts for help. Keep him covered in prayers really hope he is in good hands
I'm here. not ok. but at work half tired. went for a walk with my brother last night, then worked out. still didn't help. need to go back home to sleep. wtf? cant even go into my shop to look at my stuff. wife took my keys to go in. just need to work on my cars and guns. guns are fun to take a part and clean. That's all.
Well Guy, you are going thru a crisis right now, so not having access to your guns might be a wise move. Deep in depression and addiction, one can make bad decisions. Sadly bad decisions with a gun are permanent. They will be there, ready to be polished and cleaned in another couple months. Perhaps you could send all your weapons to your brothers house for now and then you could work on the cars. Take care and be well.
I am sure she is worried about you and also concerned that you might have booze hidden in there. Hang in there Guy. It will get better.
the weird thing is I don't have anything alcohol wise in my garage. I enjoy working on my stuff there sober. Of course she doesn't believe me. Never would I bend a tube or even lean over the Reynolds car drunk. Need to get back in there, but she took the keys away. would like to take apart my guns and clean them there... have a setup table and stand to do that. Just won't let me.
She is right. She wouldn't be doing this unless she loves you very much. Now you need to do something for her. Get into rehab!
As a "gun guy" and a former range officer, I'm a stickler for safety. Although I agree with you Guy in that cleaning guns can be very therapeutic, for many, anyone struggling handling guns can be concerning. She's got great intentions, roll with it. She means the best. Once you get things in order you'll have time to do such things.
I just got home, doubted,patronized, ask why I (soaked to the bone with sweat and wood chips )didn’t bring home supper! I have ZERO high dollar pain med left (which I hated anyway!) I had no supper waiting, I found out my dream car 70 bench seat 4 speed car was sold to a pOS WITHOUT matching drivetrain (CHEVY!!!!) and I still don’t know how I will pay for $700 a dollar insulin for 20 days to keep my body parts. I am TOTALLY OVER WHELMED AND IF A BULLET HIt ME IN the FOREHEAD TODAY I would bless it!) Really hate my disabled life with social security disability money (doesn’t even pay the mortgage after working ALL my life since 13 & sold ANY car no matter HOW rare to get it to the right buyer and I am left with a broken body,no money,no hope and now $700 a month diabetes meds unless I want them chopping off body parts (I will take a freakin bullet first.). Sorry in a bad spot too and really don’t freakin care, I got NOTHING! NO, police wellness checks please. I have mediacated (legally) myself with meds to get me through to a better day, just verrrrrrrrrry depressed Sorry Gary, love ya and been praying for you EVERY day,hope you are one of the winners buddy. Okay, I have thrown my pride to the wayside,gotta have help, until I can come up with a solution. Would like to see our children married on day & spoil any grand babies.
