    Yo Guy!
Holy crap I just read that quoted post I made!
Just goes to show things can get better!
Very glad to hear you are doing better Guy!
I had an excellent visit to the Doctors office. My A1C level that was over the 7.0 level meaning type 2 diabetes was down to 6.8 today! The prayers, meds, and diet changes have made a huge difference! The Doctor, nurse and I were very happy!
Blood pressure was also textbook perfect and I requested he put me back on my severe pain medication (as needed only) so I can endure the exercise to drop a BUNCH of weight.
You better watch out Guy I could cut 2/10ths off my 1/4 mile without even touching the car! (Every hundred pounds less is a 1/10th LOL!).
Anyhow very very happy to hear you are doing well also and totally agree we have some of the best people here my friend : )
Thank you for everyone who has helped me through my own rough patch also.
    God bless all of you.

I found an old check list for my car that I had forgotten about and saw how much progress on getting the parts I had done (over 95%) which felt great (I know never trust just emotions though).
Then I forced myself outside with the dogs for a nice hot walk, then I went into the shed to look for some items for doing a neighborhood good deed for our entrance sign some drunk plowed into and WHILE looking found my black Type 1 shorty console I was convinced I was mistaken I even had anymore and now I am sitting in my little Dakota with the a/c after doing the entrance sign (with my faithful co pilot Rosie! : ) cooling off and I feel a LOT better AND my Mom called & my brother finally got a surgery date for his cancer (like holding your breath waiting & knowing it isn’t fixing itself!).
Anyhow thanks for putting up with me!
    Feeling a good deal better : )

Would you rather get sclerosis of the liver and die. Try that near bear stuff. Or sparkling apple cider. Learn to be content with just one beer. You can get over the physical withdrawals with nutrition. Supplemnts and start juicing fresh vegetables. Mentally you can kick its ass.

Guy, I hope you are staying sober if not for yourself. For your family including us here on the board. One hour, then one day at a time. You have friends and family willing to talk, just reach out.

Guy, my prayers are with You. As a prostate cancer survivor, You don't know what You day will be like. My father, J.B.Sr.was the strongest man on the planet, and he died of cirrhosis of the Liver. I miss his sage wisdom. There's someone in Life that You have touched in Your Life: may be One, may be all of Us. My prayer... My brother that GOD WHO IS NEAR, will deliver You from that clear monster of its smell, taste and the sting. I offer my prayer, In Jesus'name.AMEN. Alcohol knows no color, my father was Black, that vodka treats all the same. I also pray that You find comfort and LOVE in your Buick brothers and sisters. We are Here. Stay safe and take good care of You. ONE precious day at a Time. Mr.J.B.Britt, Jr.
