I’ll start a new thread tonight after the new motor cranks up in the car.

    Press on Ethan.

Interesting to see those numbers after the motor you built for me a couple years ago (470ci, 290-94H cam, iron intake, iron exhaust, stock TA Stg1 alum heads, no porting) dynoed at 455 hp 552 ft-lbs. Is the cam in this one an off the shelf grind?

Well the snowball has started,.....pulled the pushrods to clean them and change the nasty rocker arms ,....lifter came up out of the bore,...damn it,....but no biggie I'll just use a magnet and put her back,....look in there with pen light ,...lifters are too nasty to ignore,....soooooo,..naturally it's getting stage 1 heads and a cam now,....I mean I kinda gotta now! Ha

Question now is what cam,....I got a KB113 and a KB 107/118 in stock,....common sense would dictate the 113 but well see

Put the 113 in it Ethan.. the 107/118 requires valve reliefs.

Bent valves is a show stopper..

Fixing rust with less rusty donor ha,...there again all I'm doing is getting stuff where it bolt up,..not interested in doing the correct repair,...I want it ratty but 100% functional
This the RH fender it's not too terrible but would normally hit the scrap pile

Once back from the nationals IF I can get it there,...the body is coming off to blast the chassis,..weld in a frame stiffening kit from Hellwig or HPI,..all tubular arms etc,...have all the modern upgraded underpinnings but still look rough as a cob,...then I'll tackle the other rusted areas. This one e will never get body or paint so I'm doing the patches kinda industrial looking with puddle welds should look pretty scary and tough

My ultimate goal for it is 4wl disc,..4l80 trans,..behind something I've barked about for a while now, ...a LOW budget TURBO 455,....using stock manifolds,...there will a retarded amount of TQ to be had

I'll be bringing you your big, ugly Accel coil next week. Either Thursday evening or Friday morning. We can work out the details next week.
