Here are 2 options on the block, it can be ordered with a 4.3075 bore, which is .005 under stock, or can be ordered with a 4.495 bore which is .005 under 4.5.
Same block, just which size you want to order it in.
Things look to be in place for production to begin on Monday, nov 1, 2004.
Get ready guys and gals, Things will move pretty quick very shortly here. Jim Burek P.A.E ENTERPRISES

Jim if someone bought the block as a 4.3075 and as time and money seem fit to over bore it, would it it be more practical to buy something like that and just throw my
parts in it and go on or build another engine all together?? I know that the heads I have could be better and if I put a bigger cam in my engine the heads would be my downfall, my goal is a strong engine that the bottom wont fall out of.....

Mike, Yes, the whole idea is to be able to use parts if you already have them. The smaller bore will allow a guy to build up with current parts. the large bore for the guy who is going to build from scratch and needs to buy pistons anyway. Jim Burek

As with me and Doug, once a "real", "physical", "able to touch" block is a reality with more definately being made, the checks will be mailed out to order a few. Yep...a few! ( I want 2)

This is all Great News, but I have questions. You guys are ordering these blocks knowing that they are designed better and stronger than a stock block, What proof is there? I'm sure that you will see visible upgrades. Several have lined up for these blocks are you willing to buy them "Untested" in full race/extreme applications? Maybe there's alot more to the process that I don't know about, but it sure sounds like tha blocks are being poured, machined, and us Buick guys are like and expecting father, waiting to get there hands on the new bundle of joy. I'm not trying to cause a problem, just "wondering" about how well it will work in our "applications". I'd love to have one, but not sure I can do it right now. I'd be willing to use my car as a Test Mule, just donate the block, I'll throw together a 500ci, 15 to 1 comp.,Stg 4 headed, dual dommies, Nitrous guzzling BEAST!!! Seriously though, I think the above mentioned "concerns" should be addressed prior to purchase.
