Buick pics from the junkyard

  1. I'll just post the Buick pics I took yesterday while out getting ripped off at the local old car yard... plus one oddball 'glass hood.

56 Chevvie:Brow: My favorite of the 55-57 crop.

So what did you buy at the yard? I usually get a pretty fair deal at the one I go to here...

There is one people like to avoid due to bend-me-over-the-table prices.

I see a LeSabre Custom next to that car:Brow: ....convertible!

  14. This was really a sad sight, as I just saw a showroom condition 'vert version of this car:

  17. The wheel looks nice from here, but was just about dripping plastic from southern exposure for who knows how many years.

  18. This is a decent grille from a 76 Skylark, I believe the car was? They probably only wanted 250 for this one... :spank:

  19. ENTRANCE FEE was $35, non-refundable, and you're on your own, pick-your-own parts. I walked out with a 69 console lid, so I guess it cost me $35. Nothing there was affordable. I was looking for a single 15x7 4.75" chrome rim, and didn't find a single one. Plenty of 5" and some 14's, but that's it. Would have cost me at least $50 anyway, probably more for a nice one, while I've read many guys saying $25 is a typical price where they go 'yarding. I also got pics of some Rivs, but they are way high for hoods and trunk lids too.

  20. Lots of full size Buicks there that I didn't take pics of, Adam. You would probably like the yard, but not the prices...
