Kevin, A) this is not an investment B) I went through all kinds of threads last night going back a couple years and found alot of bitching and complaining about the block taking to long,NO communication, etc. But what is really starting to pi$$ me of is, this is an open forum that all you guy's have been posting your dirty laundry about this block on for 2 or 3 years now, every member on this board has the right to comment on this block deal and by the way I stepped up to the plate on this deal until Dick lie to me for the 3rd time. He totally lied to me and said it Jim B would get the first block in two weeks and was expecting me to send him my money. o No: Where I come from that is called FRAD.........Chris

 

I'm not pissed off about the announcement from TA comming out with a block. I'm upset about mis information that keeps comming up about the project. I have been in contact with Bradshaw alot since about mid december. I was told a block would be shipped before christmas, no block, then before new years, still no block. I did not post this information because I was not wanting to have everyone dissapointed again.
This latest date comes straight from bradshaws mouth, not mine, I almost did not post about it either, but I do feel he will make this date.
Like I've said before, I wish I was closer to him to be able to go and check on this thing in person, but I'm not. Some of you are within a couple hours drive to him, rather than make accusations, why not go see for yourself and report back to the group?
The problem has been the negative comments have all come from hear say facts from someone who knows someone who knows someone whose brother heard from someone else that such and such happened.
Here's a thought, why not someone who is close volunteer to go visit bradshaw and see what he is doing. I for one do believe in him at this point as I have no hard evidence that he is not going to produce this block. I have visited with him on more than one occasion and have each time seen progress , good progress. Have things moved as fast as i wanted ? No. But then I'm not the one doing this so There is not alot I can do about that.
Believe me guys, I f bradshaw is fixing to screw us on this block deal, I'll be the first one in line at his door step, and i know where he lives too.

Last time I was at his shop there were several blocks cast, waiting to be finish machined. (that was back in Sept, Dick was nice e-nuf to let me use his extra passes to attend the U.S. Nats. ) About an hour for me, but I seem to be one of the few that figures if I don't have $$$ invested, I don't have any room to complain! :Smarty:

Okay, my husband has just had me sit down and read two threads regarding the Bulldog block and the TA Block. Some of you have some very colorful language. I am not a professional racer by a long shot - heck - I don't even have a car I can drive on the street (sorry dear). From what I am reading and hearing there is only one thing I have to say - If no one has gone to the Bulldog shop to see what is going on, what type of manufacturing type problems they are running into down there, (I recall something being said about the foundry having to be changed), and any other issues that Bulldog is having and trying to discuss these things WITH Mr. Bradshaw, then there really is no room for airing the dirty laundry with SUCH COLORFUL LANGUAGE and icons that my 6 year old has to ask me about when she is on this "family" web site with me. I have nothing invested in this, and yes it is an investment, but I feel this will truly benefit the Buick community if you all would allow it to. There is always room for competition so TA, please come out with a block. Bulldog, please finish your project. The rest of you, please have some tact and get accurate information before you decide to aggravate the entire community. If I did not have a TRUE LOVE for these cars - I would have quit the Buick scene and taken my interest in racing elsewhere. Do not let this ruin longtime friendships and a great community.

Ta Is Fund Raising For The New Block

Mike has a couple cool engines he's selling at TA and all the money will go towards the start of the new block.If he gets the support he will start it in July. Here's a pic of the 525 he is selling and yes that is a fogger kit,there is also a 502 for sale.

 

Is there more info on-line someplace? I just looked over the TA site and did not find anything....

 

Info on the motors Mike is selling?? Give Mike a call. I don't think he has them listed anywhere just yet.

 

Did anyone stop by and talk to the bull dog people? About a week and a half ago, someone was talking about doing this.
