Later on I snapped a picture of Chris and Harvey driving around in the nice purple '67. :TU:
It looks like they're going "lapsies".
I guess they couldn't agree on who would drive first so they decided one would work the pedals and the other would steer?? :Brow:
Okay, the truth is out....Chris and I are very good friends.....not that there is anything wrong with that!
Don't try to hide it. You guys probably fought all the way to breakfast Saturday....
Hey Harvey (and the rest of you clowns),
I showed Jess (my wife) this thread last night and she and I were laughing so hard we almost cried. I think now she understands why I enjoy the board so much.
Anyway, here are a couple more pictures that I got from another (Dan J.) who was at the show.
This one is his car:
Here is one row of GS':
Jim's 70 GS 350 was parked next to Dan:
My car was next to Jim's:
And here is a nice 65 Skylark that was there:
i caught a glimpse of the wily cjp69 roaming in the Buick Fields.. haha i just realized that isn't you. ? i could have sworn you were wearing a tanktop :error:
let's see what has caught his attention..
but i do remember us discussing putting them 24 inchers on your X.. there's Harvey on the left and Chris (of course looking away) on the right. don't know the others in this pic. more (better) photos coming... someday
The other gentleman in the picture is Jim Emmi, who owned the "nicest GS 350 in existence" car that just sold to fellow board member >>>>>. Oops, almost let the cat out of the bag!
here are some more pictures from the show
one more (sorry Duke i dont know WHAT heppened to this picture)
No problem - everyone knows what it looks like.
How are you? Had the car out?
I found someplace new for you. Every Wed. night thru the summer a local restaurant has a cruise-in at PIR (Portland Intl Raceway). They get cool cars and bikes and you alos get to watch the 1/8 mile drags going on the strip. All for 3 bucks a car.
You can also run your car if you are so inclined. In fact next Wed. cruise-in participants can run their cars for $10. I'm even thinking about firing up the Buick and giving it a good run just to see what it will do.
Let me know if you are coming down. This goes for anyone else interested in getting together. They have food and adult beverages available also.
sounds like fun! my work schedule is getting crazy now, but if i have a wendsday off i'll let you now.
I just posted 3 B.O.P events coming to town, check them out!
