supposedly monday, the cast iron t/c will be here. we'll see how this will work and what's a few more pounds on the dragster. btw, that petey could be my second home as i am always in the doghouse...
don't be a aircraft r&d machinist. leads to never ending projects like this one. always trying to improve. advice is to stay stock and never have issues. do you know what mfg r&d stands for ........ Make a F'ing Guess, Run & Disappear.
doghouse used to be a place for locals to eat at, women always want to put us there. where do we put the women when they screw up the Cat house ? yeah try that guys
HAHA I remember a Doghouse restaurant on the corner of Brookpark rd and some other road (cant remember LOL) Its still there, since 1952
I love that one, oddly enough never heard it before. D'ya suppose that was one of those behind the back snickers we were always almost hearing? I just knew we had something in common. I'll second your advice. (pretty obvious I haven't been able to follow it, but I DO have an "almost" stock 300...) Jim
jim, doing the 2xv6 altered has its issues. my wife says just 1 v6 is good. no way. i say being r&d, failure is not an option. we kept going until it was right to go. i will keep throwing 'rocks' at it until i get it right. AND then we have the 350 with all the quirks from doing what it wasn't designed to do. now imagine if i didn't do all this weird stuff.
