check valve is fine and its got lots of vacuum, when ya push the pedal its whooshing like crazy, engine note changes but it doesn't bog down.

New brake booster was the ticket but I have trouble again with it burning coolant out the right side.

Ive done the intake twice, really laid on the RTV gasket stuff around water ports 2nd time.

It cannot be the head, no water gets into the oil, a head leak would get water in the oil as it drank down a good gallon the other night.

Put in the brake booster, drove like a dream, drove all over, went to GF house, go to head home and its now guzzlin down coolant, big cloud out the right side on take off, effected cylinder is missin at low speeds. [ I need to figure out which one is missin to narrow it down ]

I can say I didn't use Threebond 1194 like I did originally when I got the TA intake, it must do better then spray copper n RTV around water ports.

so tempted to put some of that radiator goop they sell just to see what it does, over a 3rd intake removal when its cold as F out. [ and my garage is a stone driveway, the sun my shop light ]

Thats long gone, I use a brass water/gas valve. Cheap plastic things would crack all the time.

I think my only chances over buying a new intake, is to re create what happened when it was originally installed the used TA intake.

I only had Threebond 1194 on hand, its all I used. [ no silicone ]

I also tried the stock rubber china wall seals and they squeezed right out, so I quickly took it all back apart and did it a 2nd time.

So what I come up with is, when it was fist installed, it got 1 careful coating, taken apart, a quick slather of more three-bond and then assembled.

And I had no problems with it what so ever, till I did these lifters.

I know when I originally did it, the seals poppin out annoyed me, and I just slathered more threebond on everything on the 2nd assemble.

That has to be why it was no problem, but this time around, I did it right, twice but silicone just can't seal the water ports on this sucker for long.

The bad port job done to it that I had to clean up is probably a clue....... I hate to just buy new n sell it n pass on a problem.

How much can a stock intake be milled and still bolt to stock heads/block n seal?

I know TA has gaskets in 3 thicknesses, which one should I use for just a bit more gap fill over stock metal???
