    Hello,
I just finished the restoration of my 1976 Buick Electra Limited 4 door hardtop. The car is still 90% original but I did do a lot of detail work to the car over the last 2 years. I did some paint work and replaced the vinyl top, door panels, trunk carpet, chrome bumpers, bumper fillers and reconditioned the Automatic Climate Control system in this car. I used only AC Delco parts and only NOS parts when available. I got her back to as close to new condition as possible. Everthing works (Including the Auto Climate Control) and she runs and drives like a brand new car. Check out the finished project in this video. It was taken at a regional car show where she won a best car award. Hope you enjoy! Feel free to share video on Facebook or social media. If I can help any other Buick owners with restoration questions please let me know. P.S. The attached picture after the video link is a picture of the car BEFORE the restoration started.

Beautiful car! Long gone now, but my parents ordered a β€˜76 Electra 225 when they heard the next year GM was downsizing. Ours was basic; silver, black roof, standard burgundy cloth interior, low option car. Yours is exceptionally nice! Great work detailing!

    Beautiful car!!
Was a childhood dream car and still is and begged my father to buy a new 1976 Electra when I was a kid but it never happened..
If I am to start a new collection this would be my #2 car to own behind a 70GS 455 if money was no issue:)

If this is for your 72, the installation is different

That thermometer is a really cool option; Cadillac offered it until about β€˜82 (when the climate control went digital and included outside temp), and it’s illuminated via fiber optic cable. One of the Kryta brothers has a β€˜72 W30, built with sport mirrors, that has a seperate pedestal with the thermometer on it.
