Compared to the stock 455 block how easy will it be to get 800 or more HP out of this block? That belongs in a art museum!
Mike if you have an extra one laying around I could use it. We just split the bulldog aluminum block in half on the dyno today. it was going to make some good power too in an easy low power pull it made 1100hp at 5400 with 13 lbs of boost. But it is no more, just another fine example of bulldog quality:blast:

Post number 39 of this very thread may give an insight as to what might have happened. Terrible news, reguardless.
I have a couple but not very good ones. it's hard to see were the block was split on the outside but the water was running out of it.lol I just wish we could have made some power pulls before she let good night, We were still doing tune up pulls. o No:
572 it was built to make peak up in the 7000 to 7200 range so we were on are way to good power. We will rebuild I have a whole lot of parts in that engine waiting for me to give it a new home.
Is anyone running one yet? nope, none even on the dyno yet. considering that TA only announced they were doing this ~1 year ago, i'd say things are moving right along though. not going to be cheap though. Mike no pic suggestions but you MUST video the first pull in the dyno room...that will be the equivalent of Alexander Graham Bells come quickly Watson moment for TA and everybody on here watching this project you guys have fast tracked this and done a great job..keep up the good work....John.
I have my ta block I will try to keep everyone up to date. but it wont be finished this year unless i can sell my modified stock block Rod
Rod what is your first impression? do you think this is what you've needed to stand up to the blower?
My latest iron block is not broken, YET. the ta block is a very nice piece, yes it will handle all I can afford to throw at it, on a truck drivers salary, now I just need a big set of heads, mike said he's working on drawings I think? no bowling green for me, they didnt pay low qualifier few years ago, mabye next year with alum block, just bpg columbus for me this year
