I too think that Tomahawk sounds to Pontiac.... How about.....TA "Nitro" Block.....as in Nitromethane......it doesn't get anymore brutal than that. Can this new block even handle that stuff???? uzzled: EDIT: Maybe "Nitro-Cat" as a play on Buick's Wildcat......should make for a pretty interesting animated mascot / t-shirt.....
Use the musician "Prince" and his Idea, cast a "$" right in front :TU: That is funny..............
How about off of the neumeric engines like the general does. though 11500 sounds kinda weird. dosen't roll off the tounge like 3800 Being a Buick block we need something classier.
Just TA Tomahawk. Adding 'TA' officially to the name 'Tomahawk' should sufficiently differentiate the name from other after market manufacturers and products. Mike hails from the southwest and American Indian names and culture are so much more prevalent than in other parts of the country, so he gets a name that also includes similarity with his own last name. I vote (as if I have a vote) he keeps the name.
Ooh can I play. Tomahawk came from Mike's last name of Tomaszewski and Buick's use of the "hawk" suffix. But it also comes from one of the most formidable weapons... the frickin Tomahawk cruise missile! The weapon that no one else has an answer to and the weapon that destroys all the competition. It also, has potential for neat logos. The Pontiac block market isn't that strong, so I wouldn't get bent out of shape worrying about them. "Take" it away from them!
If you guys put half the effort into building these, that you do naming them, I may have to go over 40 pounds of boost after all:3gears:
Well buddy, while I'm not deluding myself that my car will EVER run YOU down......I do believe that with my T/A block and a ProCharger strapped on top, I can someday make a run at 7.90s. :TU:
Sweet. I hope I am there when you do. Doug didn't you order your block in the standard Buick configuration?
