I would certainly like to think that. It's that rugged, tough-terrained, rednecked type of look that always attracts the females anyway, isn't it? :eek2: :Brow: That is a proper stereotype for us muscle car enthusiasts.

This is the only stereotypical image I get in my mind of most guys w/ rice-plungers. Usually this is what they look like after they lose to a muscle car. They are in complete awe and shock and usually, more times than not, they crack the ugliest smile God has seen and congradulate the owner of whom beat them on the victory. :Dou:
to be honest.. i could count them on one hand in my town.. same with cars with wings. everyone around here is into stock body, and engine swaps or modification. do you guys realize that there are the same stereotypes towards muscle cars?
I see them all the time here in my town. Stock little cars with huge exhaust, spoilers and stickers all over them. They sound like a pissed off bumble bee. Granted, I heard my Supra called rice waaaay back in the 80's before the current craze started. Rice and Japan go togehter I guess.

I really didn't care what they called my car back in 1985 and I currently don't care if someone thinks I am a redneck when I'm in my old Buicks. Screw them all! This thread is just about fun. If you don't agree, don't look at it.

nah you're only a redneck if you drive a chevelle or malibu LOL kidding
I love all GM a-body cars with a passion.
I also enjoy honda's reliability and simplistic design.
I've owned 2 honda's in my lifetime and wouldn't think twice about purchasing a third.. So don't get me wrong.
However,,
calling buick owners rednecks is an offence only punishable by death...
or a 5 hour long jenga match with four 7 yr olds smoking cigars.

But in all seriousness take a stern l00ksie at the ricer mentality and the blatant disrespect he shows towards the Buick community!!!

  :3gears: :3gears: :3gears:

I think that however we portray or make fun of any ricer stereotype is just fine by me. Remember guys... WE're FAST W/ CLASS!!! :3gears: :3gears:
Don't ever friggin forget it. :Comp: :Comp:

Buick owners are FARRRRR from rednecks but only 2 short steps away from being snobs.. and i can certainly live with that.. I know the rest of you can if you're able to tolerate my crappy grammar and sentence structure as well... it defintely pays to be different.. even if it means learning the hard way.. or just bein opinionated.. :moonu:
NOW STOP RUINING MY 5 STAR STATUS..lolololol

Take this for instance..
If a buick owners' butt itches , he'll excuse himself to go take care of the problem.
A chevelle owner would try to do the icky shuffle or scratch thru the shorts.
A ricer would stick his hand down his pants scratch his ass and sniff his finger.

Theyre a menace to society!!!!

Not including wrx owners..
Those guys aren't rice at all in my opinion..LOL

'71buickg.s. a dark and stormy night..

never said anything about muscle car owners being rednecks.. you guys decided that for yourselves... this thread is entirely classLESS. all of my friends whom are into imports adore our muscle cars, and have infinite respect for them and others rolling down the road. on that link, everyone made fun of that guy and yelled at him for being an idiot in traffic... i feel that that thread proves its only a few idiots who mess it up for imports.. and there are only a few people that actually respect a car for what it is, not for where its made. Say a 4cyl. makes 500rwhp, and 450rwtq, and its put up against a 500rwhp 450rwtq v8. the 4cyl happens to win, but oh wait, its just a ricer so it doesnt matter if it won. true many imports dont make that much power. but there are quite a few that do. there are also quite a few v8's that dont make near that power.take a look around on some import forums... they make fun of ricers too and respect ANY quick car.... seems like those "ricers" are more open minded than you guys

8. BigBlock68

BigBlock68 Love that old car smell.

I say let those ignorant buttwipes trashtalk our Buicks all they want. That way they're that much more ashamed when they lose to a 2 ton chunk of American Muscle.

'71buickg.s. a dark and stormy night..

it was one person on that forum trashtalking a car.. it was a generic buick with a 3800... against a generic civic with a 1.6 liter. trashtalking goes both ways, and so do races.. i say dont stoop to the level of a ricer and let your car do the talking.

Don't be that guy who yells "THATS FAKE!!"
in the middle of Superman Returns.
Please don't be that guy! :Brow:

Furthermore,
Isn't this the same guy who posted in his daily driver thread how he pokes fun at the "Ricer stereotype" with a Bumper sticker on his Honda civic stating
"GOT RICE"
Please stop calling my kettle black unless you are about to use some spray paint on yourself. :moonu: :moonu: :moonu: :moonu:
Several of us own hondas as well..
Just remember there isn't any Constitutional right to not be offended.
I own a Satrun also and aim to poke a lil fun at those owners too.
Just steer clear son. & Keep on Keepin on..
Simple baby psych 101 should spell it out for ya in simplistic terms that a drunken lemur should be able to absorb even thru osmosis.
If you can't handle the big city humor with your small town witt then perhaps not reading this thread can bring some peace of mind in your life..

Taste is a matter of perspective, and one thats best described usually through offence. The thread was started so we can act silly and not spam other peoples' threads with highjacking humor.. IF ya can't deal with that.
Try implementing your free will and chose not to read anymore..
The bad taste resides in the contemptable nature from highjacking a thread via your personal insight or beliefs
which are irrelevant and unsolicited. :Smarty:
I thought people who wore their emotions upon their shirtsleeves were a thing of the past.. :Do No:
Damn bible belters always know how to ruin a good time. :eek2:
Rice rice baby!!

ya know, being able to recognize, take AND give good natured ribbing is an essential 'man skill'.

take a deep breath and lose the "MPHT" attitude and i think you'll find that life is a lot better than you thought it was.

I'd feel pretty ashamed if I had a Civic w/ 300+ rwhp, and lost to a '70 GS Stage 1 that only had 360 BHP(and the civic weighs less than 4,000 pounds, unlike my stage 1 w/ the driver does)(yes, there's a difference in case you didn't know). But oh wait, I forgot all about torque. :Dou: My bad, the stage 1 has 510 FT LBS TORQUE, and my civic has????????????????????????not enough, that's for sure. My own version of the Yugo-screwyaself would beat the heck out of the civic, and wouldn't lose by a whole lot to the Stage 1. Oh well, a loss is a loss.  :TU:

Thanks Jeff. Nothing beats a Classical show series like Sanford & Son. :TU: I can watch those shows over and over again and never get tired of them! :) Can't say the same for most others!

have ya heard the "sanford and son" theme song remixed into a dance track?
its pretty snazzy atleast for the novelty of it.

Nope, but it sounds cool. Must have been digitally remastered(remixed like you said!) :TU:

I added some mudflaps my lawnmower powered, multicolossal machine of artwork. They seem to add wind resistance which may help on those high speed cruises i've been doin lately. :spank: I need to learn to slow it down, really! That foam 7" rear wing really helps on downforce, but to make it produce more wind resistance, I put some old CB radio antennas on it, about 4 of them, two on the corners and 2 in the middle. They work nicely! :TU: My yugoslovian adjustifaction suspension works nice, I have it set 2 inches from the ground. Really helps on those willys! I took some hubcaps off of a Lexus Gran Sport(GS?) and put them on top of my carbuerator. The CFMS seem to flow much more consistantly now, they are measured with a dactylic hexameter and work fine! I have my daguerrotype photo on the dashboard, it seems to soak in the sun so that powerful lawnmower engine doesnt seem to bring in the heat as much. My Iberian soldier on my radiator helps keep other pedestrians from breaking my radiator when I am going at 350 mph, and he provides much heat which is useful when you bring a refrigerator w/ you, because any kind of food that needs to be cooked or warm, can be used on the motor :TU: I need a gadolinium18 mix w/ lithum and a little bit of phosphate 12 for some gas tank freshner. It claims to add an extra 45-70 Horsepower. Worth a shot, right? :Do No: Wish me luck my friends! :bglasses:
