Yardley,Mike lost a large sum of cash money most likely when he pulled his cell phone out to answer a call;maybe whoever found his cash didn't know whose it was or how to report it being it was cash.I hope that they read this and do the right thing and get it back to Mike as I know this could happen to any one of us and hopefully the finder will think how they would feel if it happened to them.Mike I hope you don't mind me expanding on this but I want you to get back that money!
Here are some of my favorite shots that I took. I sure hope the dwindling attendance can be turned around. o No:
Even though attendance was down and the weather was not the best on some days, I still had a good time. This was my 10th time attending and I think the best part every year is seeing old friends and meeting new ones. With this board we get to "talk'" to each other daily but going to BG you get meet each other face to face. I also picked up a couple of hard to find parts I needed. It was unfortunate about Mike losing his money my wife and I were with him when he realized it and we went straight to an official and reported it and I know an annoucement was made. It not to late for someone to do the right thing.
Dropping cash is about like giving it to someone. Most people don't think a thing about taking cash they have picked up and adding it to their own stash. I have never found any but have been with a couple guys who did. They both said the same thing, "If we go to someone to tell of course they will say it's theirs!". I have lost money myself and am sure it paid someone's bills for them. Sorry to hear Mike dropped it.
I really enjoyed my 26th straight GS Nationals :TU: Thank you to all the true Buick fans who continue to make the trek to Bowling Green each May :beer Here's some more Buick fun for all you folks...... i hope you will come and join me. Peace WildBill .
This was my first time going.I went Friday and was a little dissapointed with the show.I heard so much on the forum about how great it was.My expectations were too high.I was dissapointed with so few GS`s.I wanted to see sroys car but missed it somehow.I don`t know if he had already left or what. The parts had been picked over by Friday.Didn`t see much worth buying unless you were just missing a part all together.Still got some great pics and had a good time even with the low turnout.
