Drill a few holes, add some posts and you'll have a really nice carb stand for that chromed out dominator you'll buy some day. :Brow:
Use them as the base for a bench grinder so you dont have to put holes in a bench, its mobile, and it won't rattle or shake the whole garage.
Grave Stones They would make very nice grave stones for my mother-inlaw, I like her so much I would get her two, One for each foot :eek2: :Brow:  Chris
Have them engraved "Here lies a beloved (Ford, Chevy take your pick), may it rust in peace" and put them in a garden
It's yours, Mark! I should be able to wrap it with double-walled cardboard and send it down on Spee Dee. You sure you only want one? p PM or email your address again, not sure if I still have it around here. I'll be able to ship it next week when I'm back at work, you can pay for shipping later. Oh, one is 3" thick, the other is 3.25", do you care which I send? Both are 16 x 18.
When I took an award at Hot August Nights at Reno in '00 the award was carved out of Marble and it is just great. A wee bit heavy of course, but definately one of a kind award. Maybe have them cut in 1 1/2 inch deep slabs and maybe donate (suggest) for a "one of a kind" trophy at some large and popular car show that is happening in your neck of the woods. Jim o No:
Check out Gravestone stores. They can have pictures (of Buicks of course) etched into them. I'm considering getting a pic of my fathers 25 Dodge Touring car etched into a head stone for him. o No:
I Could use one I could use one ! They would be great for a flat table for measuring height on machine jobs! Let me know how much it would cost to send it to zip code 19081. Don
And then put some plywood with big red/white targets on them up behind the cars, and award points to the driver that hits closest to the centers when they launch out from under the cars!!! ou: [edit] "Gee, officer, it sounded like a good idea at the time...sorry about the hole in the building across the street!"
1) Sell them as a gauranteed pest killer. Kills all household and yard pests. Simply place pest on slab A and drop slab B on top.  2) Make a memorial to all the things you've lost, innocence, stamina, your hair etc. :ball: John
Honestly ?? I'd slap a shipping label on one and send it to my nephew for his birthday. I've been giving him "wierd" presents all 20 years - this would fit the bill perfectly
not sure if they would work as a grinder base. Long as you never torqued the things around. They might crack or split off at the bolt holes??? If I had a nice fancy indoor wood burner, id set one on top of it. It would hold heat well and look nice. Stick them under the gutter down spouts in the front yard and let the water naturally wear them into a shape.
